I love the location of The Saguaro in the heart of Old Town. You can walk to bars, restaurants, museums, shopping, galleries. The pool areas - there is a larger one that is a favorite hangout during busy season and a smaller one that is a great spot to relax - are beautiful and the pools clean. The bright colors... More

JUNK FEE ALERT. A fee characterized as a "resort fee". Nothing exceptional is included other than inflated prices for everything. Prior to arrival I contacted the property to determine the resort amenities that warranted a fee. I was told it includes "things like parking and internet." Valet parking: extra; internet yes, but high-speed internet add $9.95 per day; bottled water... More

We liked the saguaro hotel. We were there with my mother, brother and my father for my father's 50th birthday. The service was great. They greeted us with a smile and called us by our names. They also wished my father a happy birthday. The rooms were nice too with nice beds and a tv and an ok bathroom. There... More

Very nice room. Beds on par with "HeavenlyBed". I like the vivid color palette. The front desk handled the only issue immediately and it was resolved to my satisfaction. One other concern: elderly guests may have trouble with the hanging sliding door to the bathroom. It did not cause me real concern, but my guest, with mobility issues, had trouble... More

How is this a 4 star hotel??? This is an old motel that received a paint job. I say a pig with a lipstick is still a pig. The rooms and grounds are super old. I think they painted the whole place uber bright to distract you from the poor conditions that they have painted over. I'm a huge fan... More

This is not a 4 star hotel, I repeat, this is not a 4 star hotel, not even a hotel but a renovated motel. Whoever gives this motel a 4 star must have been blind. Let's be honest, try a marriott or Hilton 4 star and you will see fine amenities. As a matter of fact, ask any season traveler... More

great customer service! We had loud neighbors and they took care of it. We loved the colorful and unique design touches in the rooms and the entire property. the bathroom was really small and the tub was slow to drain. The beds were very comfy and sheets good quality. The towels were not great and the promised bathrobes were missing.... More

Dear SLU-Withee, We appreciate your review from your recent stay with us in Scottsdale! A fun little fact about our colors around our hotel – each color represents an indigenous flower in the desert. Who knew there were so many colors! We hope you come back soon! Sincerely, Morgan K More

We booked this hotel because of the great location and I had never stayed there before and wanted a change of scenery. I thought the decor was really fun, southwestern with a modern, colorful flare. The valet was nice, and the lady a check-in was nice. The valet must have thought we were all shacking up together because when six... More

My wife and I checked into the Saguaro hotel in Scottsdale, Az, having booked the one night stay on the Hotel's website. We chose to take advantage of the "Summer Splash" special, which promises a King size bed room, 4pm checkout, complimentay day-bed at the pool, and a pitcher of drinks. We confirmed with the hotel staff who checked us... More

After 10 days of backpacking & staying in motels we stayed here for 3 nights. We were initially booked for 2 but loved it so much we booked an extra night.
