The resort maintains an elegant look and excellent grounds despite being decades old. The rooms are cleaN nd feature beamed ceilings, a widescreen TV and nice patio with chairs and a table. The privacy hedges in front of the patios are a nice touch. Has two main pools and a waterfall feature. All rooms are within a reasonable walking distance... more

Stayed four nights, girls' getaway. Low off season rate, spacious and comfortable room with large balcony. Beautiful grounds, pools, lobby, restaurant. Helpful staff and pleasant servers. Close to dozens of good restaurants and shops. Highly recommend! more

Upon check in we were given warm chocolate chip cookies.... delicious! I called and asked for early check in, and it was no problem. Our room was great, just steps from the pool. The grounds are very pretty and the pools are well maintained. We went for a swim and a soak in the hot tub about 8 at night... more

This was our second stay at the Double Tree Paradise Valley Resort. We enjoyed our previous visit and again were not disappointed. Check-in was quick and efficient and we were given a complimentary room upgrade based on our Hilton Honors membership. Our room was nicely appointed and was very quiet, clean, well maintained and the bed was especially comfortable. All... more

My mom and I stayed here for 3 nights in early May. I bid on Priceline and got a great deal - $50 per night. The staff was really friendly and the beds are extremely comfortable. I felt that the rooms were rather nice and ours didn't seem outdated to me. Our room faced the interior of the commune (it's... more

My husband and I stayed one night to celebrate our anniversary, we got a great rate by bidding on Priceline. The hotel was great. As noted before the rooms are a little dated, but very clean and super comfortable. Our room faced Scottsdale Rd. ( the traffic noise was not to bad.) Our room did overlook the parking lot but... more

Booked our 3 night stay on Hotwire. Got a great rate. The reception staff were very friendly. We were given a room far from the pool closest to the parking lot. At first we wanted a room where we would be looking into the centre of the hotel instead of the outside, but our room was so nice and clean... more

I am a single woman traveling alone and I was surprised at how such a nice place has not been kept up. The lobby and grounds look great. It is a great place for a conference but the rooms were disappointing. The rooms are large but very worn. The carpet and curtains need to be replaced. The furniture is worn.... more
