Pluses: (in random order) beautiful desert views, lobby stairs that change colour when you walk on them, lots of parking, friendly staff in all departments (pool maintenance guy quite passionate about his job & hotel), Blue Coyote restaurant with outside patio, Orange Sky restaurant with gorgeous rooftop views, well laid out rooms with spacious baths (tub fills super fast, don't... Rooms were modern with flat screen TV, large bathroom, coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, mini fridge with complementary bottles of water (2). The resort also has complimentary valet parking and porter service. Recommend using the valet parking as it is quite a walk to the parking garage and parking lots. The resort also has three large swimming pools... More

DO NOT GAMBLE HERE!!! This casino is as tight as I've ever seen in the USA! Machines are all high max bets and designed to suck you dry fast! No 25 cent slots? Weird casino... When I saw they upgraded the exterior with fancy decorative flashing colored lights, I knew this was a bad sign...

Love the fact there is security to get to our rooms, sectioned off from the casino, less noise better privacy. Nice comfortable rooms, great bath, shower was good, bed comfy. The bar upstairs was fun and that restaurant was good. The coffee shop needs to be open longer. Plenty do and see for a weekend. GREAT shopping in the area.... More

Valet service is quick and bellmen available quickly...front desk is ready for your arrival but is a bit of a walk to rooms...so if you have just a little too much stuff for the room, make sure you get a bellman. Rooms are quiet and large..shutter windows treatments yet they keep sun out...pool area is lovely...nice golf course...food in coffee... More

From the moment we checked in we had a bad experience. It started with our room, the front desk, no hot water, WiFi is awful. The restaurants were okay and room service was great. Housekeeping was great. Sadly, we will not recommend to our friends or family.

We were staying in a small apartment in Scottsdale and we asked the owner to recommend somewhere for brunch. He suggested the Talking Stick Resort. I must admit that, when I realised that it was in a casino hotel, I thought of some of the Las Vegas buffets, which hadn't impressed me much. However, this one is so much better... More

We stayed in a room at club level with great views and a king bed. The cleanliness of the room was really disappointing. The vent where the air is filtered for air conditioning had stuff growing in it, everything was covered with dust and they never vacuum or dust right around the bed. Other than that, if you can deal... More

Eight of us visiting from Maui stayed 6 nights here. The rooms were very nice and spacious. We had to move after first night because we were too close to disco. After that it was okay. Ate in coffee shop and snack shop. Food was very good. Coffee shop VERY noisy one night. Buffet was ok. Gambling was disappointing. Expected... More

My friends husband booked one of his comped rooms(he spends big gambling there) for his wife, daughter ,myself and my son for his daughters birthday. Most of the trip was wonderful until the girls in the room across from ours polluted the hallway with marijuana smoke. We reported it to the front desk who promptly dealt with the smokers by... More
