got there, place looked nice, nice pools, rooms were fine. thought i was in for a great stay, until they started pecking at my wallet like a pack of vultures. Breakfast was 11 bucks for a continental breakfast. One day they said the "guy" didnt show up, so their was no breakfast. They pointed us towards the menu, $4 for... more

This has been one fo the most enjoyable stays I have ever had by myself. The staff is so attentive and personable. I have not had to ask for anything, they are all mind readers. more

This was a nice facility and the staff was great. Only one proplem. We had to call for towles everyday. They would come clean and leave one set of towles, wehn we listed three as being in the room. It varied sometimes their would be three big towels, two medium and one face towel. Or Two big, one medium and... more

I stayed with my family in April 2009. The rooms were huge, well appointed, perhaps slightly dated but that should not worry any traveller. The hotel facilities were excellent, lovely pools, tennis courts, and at the time of our visit, the resort was empty (about 10% occupancy), Location is good in the midst of Scottsdale just a short drive away... more

They try to be a fancy resort, but its just a used-to-be resort thats gone down hill and turned into a 3 star hotel. I would have rather stayed at best western. This place doesn't have a microwave or refrigerator in the room, The air conditioner was INCREDIBLY loud, very dated rooms, and they charge for internet access. parking wasn't... more

My wife and I spent four nights at The Scottsdale Plaza last week. We had stayed here five or six years ago and found it satisfactory but after reading the reviews on this site, we were concerned The Plaza had gone downhill. Our concerns seemed to be justified when we checked in and could not get a king sized bed.... more

We stayed at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort last week. The grounds are beautiful and the convention facilities very comfortable. I was a little worried about the rooms based on previous reviews, but we found them to be quite comfortable. They could use a little updating (for instance, the bright brass fixtures are a little outdated) but they were clean and... more

This resort is fabulous! The location was perfect, just a short cab ride away from the down town area where we went out at night. The pool at the resort was so relaxing and a great place to hangout during the day! I would recommend!! more

If you are coming to Scottsdale - stay somewhere else. Room was dated. Beds were uncomfortable and old. Hot tub was cold and didn't work. No robes or newspaper as stated. Booked us in a room across from a tent that had a party that was loud and was to end at 10:30pm and went to 11:30pm. No wake up... more
