You can just imagine what Whiskey Row was like back in the good old days. This hotel just takes you back in time. I have never stayed at the hotel since I am a local but have eaten there on many occasions. It's rustic, old and just reeks of history. The menu is small but amazing and the service is... More

This is a great old hotel with so much historic value! The location cannot be beat if you want to be near the city square. It is right on whiskey row. It is an old hotel and you can see that in some areas of it but, there is a great bistro and some nice shops with some nice local... More

Arrived in Prescott to enjoy my husband Christmas Eve birthday and stay at the St. Michael's hotel. Wonderful building with history and charm, fun elevator, free parking and a tasty breakfast. Sadly we had to shorten our stay and return home unexpectedly. Hotel gave us voucher for the unused portion of our stay...good for a year. Things that could be... More

Stayed here for the 1st time for the annual tree lighting ceremony. For those who are not inclined to walk, this is the place for you.Small rooms, very clean and a very polite staff.Breakfast is included in the price. This is no stale doughnut and coffee, but a sit down meat eggs and potatos..Would stay here again no problem.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Hotel St. Michael the week before Thanksgiving. When I made the booking a few weeks earlier I was pleasantly surprised that a historic hotel right on the square would be priced so competitively (less than $120 per night, fully inclusive, with a sumptuous hot breakfast included), and with vacant rooms at... Stayed recently in our favorite prescott hotel. For the past 20 years this has been our only choice when staying in town and the recent upgrades only further cement future stays. In fact have reservations for January and February already made. The new shower head was quite nice my only complaint would be it would not move positions to allow... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, but it was recommended for breakfast. It was a busy Sunday morning and they were able to seat us within 15 minutes. Luckily, there was a wonderful used book store next to the hotel where we browsed until we were called. The food was fresh, delicious and the service good.

We loved this hotel. The carpet, the railing, the elevator, the rooms, the furniture, the glass in the windows, the bathrooms; everything was WONDERFUL. It was clean, the staff was very nice. We will definitely go back again!

We just love these old-time, center-of-town, charming hotels. Is the St. Michael all new and sparkling? Nope. Is it all bright and cheery? Nope. Is it swarming with mini-skirted twenty year olds on the arms of slick-haired, open-shirted dudes? Not on your life. It is an authentic, wood-paneled, turn-of-the-twentieth century small town hotel. The service is great...the rooms are quaint... More

We planned a three night stay in the Executive Suite. We were welcomed by a friendly, knowledgeable staff. The elevator was very historic and still in working order. The location was perfect in the heart of Whiskey Row with a great view of the courthouse. The rooms we nice and very clean although the sitting room could use some decorating.... More
