This was my 2nd trip to The Motor Lodge. First trip was in April for a concert in the square on Whiskey Row and I had been dying to come back and stay again. Cannot say enough about this place. Clean rooms, cool decor, great location (5 minute walk from Whiskey Row), quiet --- and Joe & Brian are the... more

All the other reviews sum up the details of the lodge very well. My husband and I (Manny & Laura) enjoyed the privacy of own room with patio and garage too. We loved the decor of the room, sitting on the patio and our chats with Joe & Brian. They are so friendly and accommodating and once again say "thanks... more

This motel lived up to all the positive reviews I read about it prior to deciding which hotel to stay at on our trip to Prescott. Very pleasant and relaxing stay. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch. I loved the retro furnishings; many beautiful and well-cared for pieces to admire. Plush towels and bedding. Very clean; no musty... more

This hotel could not have been any better!!! It is a great location, very close to the downtown area in prescott, and very close to a bunch of cute restaurants (el gato azul & tastebuds pizza). The rooms were super cute, comfortable and incredibly cleanl. We even had cookies waiting for us in our room. The staff made us feel... more

The Motor Lodge is a vintage gem. Admittedly it is not for everyone, but if you're old enough to remember great customer service and friendly, comfortable surroundings, you're going to appreciate this place. If you're too young to have experienced a heartfelt welcome, pleasant conversation and unique decor then by all means stop and stay awhile. Joe, Brian and their... more

From start to finish the experience with Joe, Brian and Chopper of The Motor Lodge was memorable in the most positive of ways. The exterior says, "Historic, roadside, inn." The interior says, "Creative, unique, clean, homey." About the only drawback for MJ & me was the tiny bathroom. The room we occupied was quite comfortable and cozy, but definitely only... more

I've always been afraid of anything called a "Motel", but thanks to discerning Trip Advisors who helped talk me off the cliff, not anymore. The Motor Lodge is cool and clean, with tiny little bathrooms, and a welcome drink and a warm smile at check-in. We loved their respect for the original bones of the Motor Lodge, and it's great... more

This was touted as one of the best but for $99 per night its overrated. For starters we had no hot water at 10 pm for a shower. By the way, the bathroom is about the size of an RV or airplane restroom. My shoulders were touching both walls as I stood at the sink. The shower has a big... more

Well, we knew it would happen eventually but, OUCH! Let’s start at the top of his list and work down. We are listed as the 8th least expensive place to stay in Prescott as compiled by Tripadvisor (not bad out of 24). We did provide a $30 refund for the inconvenience of having to wait to take a hot shower...

If you are looking for an affordable, cozy and friendly place to stay with the most wonderful hosts you have to stay here. I went with a group of riders for Memorial Weekend and we all just loved the warm welcome as well as beer, wine and fresh baked cookies offered by Joe and Brian!! The king size bed was... more
