Very recently I stayed at the Hon-Dah Resort and Casino in Pinetop Arizona. I stayed for two days with the 'Ski and Stay package'. Probably the worst two days of my life. I asked for a non smoking room - "they are all nonsmoking" says the staff. They may say that and the doors may have 'no-smoking' placards mounted on... more

3rd time, multi-day stay during ski resort snow dump. Solid ski lodging choice with large rooms, very comfortable king bed in non smoking room and set of 4 newer towels for ski focus inclined. Clean hot tub pool area for relaxing after long day at slopes. Plenty of room space for sorting next day gear and fridge and mini bar... more

I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere before. The resorts' guests are simply a huge nuisance to the entire staff. more

After reading all of the reviews about the Hon-Dah resort, I have to agree 100% about the non-friendly staff. Our first night staying at the resort we went to eat at the Indian Pines restaurant and we had the slowest service. We didn't even get our drinks until about 25 minutes after sitting there, and we know she couldn't of... more

Nice hotel with big rooms. Food was ok, too. Only problem was the very casual attitude of the staff regarding guest service in general. The desk personnel were talking to their friends or family on the telephone quite often, and one staff member occupied the main lounge area with her children the entire day. Overall, it seemed like guests were... more

I have stayed at the Hon-Dah a couple of times on business. For the most part, I really don't mind staying here. The rooms at this hotel are pretty big compared to the average hotel room. All the rooms have a mini bar. They are also big enough to give you some room to spread out if you're going to... more

Me and my family went there to snowboard at sunrise ski lodge and there was 11 of us. The rooms and resort were fine. But the people just acted as if we have to earn good service. They didn't tell us the gretuity was already in the bill. Everytime we needed something we had to call the front desk. We... more

My family of 4 stayed 2 nights here. Both night we had an room that joins to another. The people next to us stayed out all night in and out of the room, slamming doors. The second night was much worse, there was a party until 2am and then from 2-8am when we checked out a man was chanting crying... more

We have been to casinos in Louisiana, Indian casinos in Oklahoma and Albuquerque, NM, Globe, AZ, Laughlin, Nev., and Las Vegas, Nevada before going to Hon-Dah. We will never go to any of those again, because Hon-dah casino offers really FUN slots, great rooms, excellent food and many local places to visit in the area. For us, it is a... more

We spent four days at the Hon-Dah Resort. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. They don't stint with good towels and bath accessories, i.e. shampoos, soaps, etc. While nice, our room received attention from the cleaning staff only one of the four days we were there. We had to ask for clean towels on the other days. Staff attitude... more
