I stayed for five days and nights in May for a personal retreat while on sabbatical. It was a perfect place to spend some wonderful alone and quiet time. The small cabin was clean, comfortable and nice, and just right for what I needed. The surroundings were quiet and wonderful, and the nights were quiet, peaceful and delightful. The location... I spent two weeks at Spirit Falls. It was amazing. A paradise among the pines. The cabin was the perfect size. The falls, the trees, the wildlife, it was the most spiritual, peaceful place I've ever been to. Bodhi, the retreat owner, gave me space I needed to do the reflecting I went to Arizona to do. The short hike... More

I spent time in Bodhi’s Place at Spirit Falls and enjoyed the silence and solitude that I went there for. The cabin was well-equipped and clean and the grounds are beautiful with waterfalls gurgling and magical lighting at night. I especially enjoyed sitting at the bay window watching the sun rise or set or just gazing at the wonderful pine... More

Hello all! First off, I'd like to contradict the only negative review on here. Anything you see in it, completely falsified. Alrighty where to begin? I guess if it helps, I came to Arizona on a Spiritual Journey type of Vacation. I traveled from New York. The reason I stayed here aside from a standard hotel is because there was... More

I'm writing this my last morning at Bodhi's Place with a fire crackling in the fireplace and the rising sun greeting me through an expansive bay window amidst other windows that let all of the forest in. Five days, albeit too brief, have left me cleansed and renewed. I feel compelled to address the last review. I am not in... More

The mountain air, peaceful setting, beautiful trees.... However, I personally could have enjoyed the beauty of nature and the peaceful setting better if the cabin I stayed in didn't a) still have the owner (who calls himself "bodhi")'s prescriptions in the medicine cabinet (apparently he had lived there until a few months ago) b) have his sweaty-smelling mattress still on... The main cabin, Bodhi's Place, has bedroom blinds but the wrap-around living area windows are open to the outside deck and forest. The Heart and Hopi are both studio cabins with blinds on all the windows. Cabins are professionally cleaned for each guest and the guest room mattress was only used by my daughter and a long-time friend before I... More

Just completed a week-long meditation retreat in the Hopi cabin. This place is simply amazing ! Deeply quiet and yet within walking distance of town. The clean, crisp mountain air filling the lungs with each breath, I wandered the placid country roads and close by National Forest Trail. Large windows on all sides of the cabin afford forest views that... More

I was fortunate enough to spend a week at Spirit Falls in the Hopi Cabin. It was exactly what I needed. Being a writer and a business owner it provided me the perfect opportunity to detach from the busyness of life and to dive even deeper into my own personal thoughts. I spent every day reading, writing, hiking, meditating, stretching,... More

I travelled from Ireland to spend 6 weeks in the Hopi cabin in December to January. Living in the forest was delightful...the ponderosa pines majesty and their seeming caress of the desert night sky was an absolute thrill. As a traveller without car, I appreciated the proximity to forest trails and easy walking into Pine. When I discovered Spirit Falls... More

Today is our last day of a week at Spirit Skies. The elk came to say hello moments after we arrived; were here again this morning to say goodbye. The setting is to die for. Sweet little cabin; our only grumble that there were hot plates instead of a stove.
