Kudos to Scott and Joan for this wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city! I lived in Phoenix for 22 years and it took my leaving the valley to find and appreciate such a treasure! The anticipation of the breakfast picnic basket was one of a child on Christmas!

Maricopa Manor is my new favorite place to stay in Phoenix. In town, but with the feel of a country home. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfasts excellent and charmingly delivered in a wicker trunk each morning. The bed was comfortable, the room was excellent in every way.

We stayed in the Library Suite. We were warmly welcomed by Scott and Joan into their lovely home. The Suite is huge, furnished with many unique antiques. Lots of special features welcomed us, like fresh flowers (!), and baskets of candies and snacks. Immaculately clean. Welcome book has many sites to see in Phoenix. Comfy king bed. Private deck off... Maricopa Manor is a beautiful place! We loved the huge suite with its little patio. The room was lovely and clean. The ground are beautiful. The have a pool and hot tub, which we didn't use, but which look nice. The location is great, and we walked to several restaurants nearby. Joan's breakfasts were incredible! She's a terrific host in... More

I stayed in the library room. It was quiet. The bed very comfortable. The whole place was well groomed outside and inside. Joan was accommodating on special requests I made. Mainly leaving my luggage after I checked out at the inn while I walked to some local stores. This inn was very easy to find from the airport. I took... More

Conveniently located in central Phoenix, Maricopa is a hacienda style B&B with beautiful grounds. However, our stay in the Library room was dark and musty with the smell of mold. My wife is disabled and we were disapointed that there were no handicapped bars in the bathroom or shower. It was awkward and dangerous bathing.

Maricopa Manor was the perfect place to meet a friend and explore the surrounding area. Joan was the perfect innkeeper and her "breakfasts in a basket" served to our rooms were delicious. Our suites were lovely decorated, spacious, very clean, comfortable and quiet. Joan went out of her way to assist us with local sights to see and to recommend... More

This is my husband and my second stay at this B &B. I find the rooms very charming, the beds/ bedding very comfortable, and the property quite beautiful. The breakfast in a basket is a great touch that is delicious and the fresh ground coffee is outstanding. If/when we come back to Phoenix, I would stay here again...I am curious... More
