Our first trip to this Hilton was an unpleasant start to our 4th of July holiday. At check-in it took 3 different room assignments before they got it right (1st time they wrote down the wrong room number, 2nd room was on the wrong floor & the 3rd room was only partially cleaned). The front desk kindly comped us a... more

The hotel has some nice pool areas because we were on the eve of 4th of july there were a lot of families bus also couples who were more party people. You have a main pool near your room and a water park. In the main pool it filled with beer drinking loud people. Not my cup of thea so... more

We stayed at the Squaw Peak resort from 6/20 through 6/27. The Conceige, David, is the BEST thing this hotel has going for them. He upgraded us from a standard suite to a Ambassador suite (no charge) it was my husband's birthday. He was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The lobby is very slow and needs a lot of improvement.... more

We did a mini stay-cation at this resort. The breakfast area was quiet, but the staff was slow and unfriendly--maybe they didn't like us having children (who behaved themselves btw). The pool was nice and refreshing. The room was very nice with a nice view of the lush greenery. The overall hotel has gone down hill a little bit from... more

Was in Arizona for a wedding in Flagstaff, and decided to take the kids on a mini vacation to Phoenix. A friend had told me about Squaw Peak many years ago. Our room was beautiful, it was a King Suite, my 21 yo son slept on the sofa sleeper in the LR and had his own TV. My 17 and... more

I stayed at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort while attending a meeting in the area. What a wonderful hotel! Breakfast at the Hole in the Wall Saloon was over the top. The bucket of assorted breads set the stage for a wonderful dining experience. Also, after a busy day the pool area offers a great retreat to relax and... more

We spent 4 nights in a king castia. The beds are wonderful, the cleaning staff the best I have ever seen. River ranch had a lot to do and the lazy river in a lot longer than it looks. The staff was very helpful. Only complaint is they charge for internet even in their buisness center. Would stay again !! more

My wife, myself and our two boys (13 & 14) decided to go on three extended weekend "stay-cations" this summer rather than one long vacation and this was our first stop. First, The Room, we booked the two bedroom bi-level casita so we would have some room to stretch out. All in all it was great. The furnishings were modern,... more

This is the second time I have stayed here at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak. The first time was last year and the experience was not quite up to the hype. Unfortunately, things have not gotten much better, and I will probably never return again. Decided to take my wife the first night to celebrate our anniversary, then have our... more

I had booked a King room with upgrade possibility this time around and ended up in a King Casita. I've stayed in both types of rooms, the Standard King and the Casita King, previously. I haven't seen any pics posted of the interiors of these Casitas, so I'm going to post a bunch :) I know that the Hilton site... more
