The lazy river makes this hotel a 5. We were upgraded to a casita since we were 5 and the pool policy was only 4 wrist bands per room but 6 per casita. It was a great size and being the last hotel in our trip we were thankful to have so much room and not be on top of... More

I would not recommend this hotel for the weary business traveler. Just finding my room was a chore. The restaurant doesn't open til 7am and the gift shop closes at 9:30pm. Which would be fine if you were on vacation, but for busy, long work days, this is less than ideal. So no water, snacks, travel supplies or food. Tried... More

Wonderful hotel and fabulous staff. Look forward to our return in a year. The River Ranch was a wonderful water activity location, especially for our very hot August visit. Wonderful hotel to take children to keep them active and adults enjoy the location also. No free shuttle offered. Hotel contracts with Execu-Car (Luxury Car) a wonderful service for 2 -... More

Great trip, lots of fun, a little on the busy side. We stayed in a 2 br Casita and it was perfect, small yet open and inviting. Pools everywhere, although no one seems to care about the 10pm closing of them, and I wouldn't either if they could have stopped yelling at 1130. All and all it was a great... More

This is the second time I stayed here for a conference and disappointed again. The staff was friendly enough but for a second time did not honor my request for a late checkout despite being an Honors member. The rooms were nice enough but looking a little worn. Odd thing in the bathroom the door hits the toilet seat and... More

The pool boys could not locate our names on their sign in book, when we tried to return our pool towels. Since their policy is to charge $25/towel if the towels are not returned, this was stressful because we did not want to be charged $100 for pool towels. My cousin's towel was stolen from her lounge chair and they... More

Hello Vanessa, Thank you for providing this feedback regarding your recent stay at our resort. Please accept my apologies for any undue stress you experienced at the River Ranch. We recently started a check-out system for our brand new, larger towels. Our team is in the process of working out the glitches to streamline the process. Your feedback is valuable... More

This hotel looked wonderful from the outside. It has several fountains all throughout the surroundings of it facility. The special rate was reasonable. Hotel lobby was well lit. It has several swimming pools throughout the facility. It was really big hotel and the service was amazing. Despite the heat in Phoenix, the rooms had adequate air conditioning to cool one... More

Had a great time with the grand kid at River Ranch. Was super crowded on Saturday, but the rest of the week was perfect. Hotel grounds are lovely. Hotel room was good size and beds were comfortable. They could invest in a little updating, but I would go back. Towels could be more fluffy. Just my preference. Snacks at River... More

Important Tip: Guests did line up at the entrance gate prior to water park opening to stake out lounge chairs--typical laying of towels to "reserve," then leave to return later. If you go later in the day, there were usually a few chairs to be found. Not extremely impressed with restaurants (Rico's menu identical to room service menu), however the... More

Checked into one of their studio rooms and it smelled awful. Prior guest must have had a pet in the room. Went to the front desk and they prompty moved us to a very lovely room near the pool. Housekeeping was great the whole time we were there. Used the lazy river and pool area, it was soooo hot 112... More
