We have returned to the RP each summer for the past 10 years and have seen many changes - some for the good some not Withstanding all of this key staff hold the resorts image and reputation - Hilary Reservations director is amazing - as is Mona the concierge Mr Miller at the helm has given the resort stability and... My husband and I stayed for four nights in early October. The Royal Palms is a beautiful hotel in an amazing setting. We enjoyed the residential feeling and walking around discovering all of the nooks and crannies around the grounds. Even though I overheard that the resort was fully booked, we felt as if we were all alone in a... More

My wife, infant daughter and I spent four days at the Royal Palms last week and left nothing short of impressed. First, the location is ideal; situated on Camelback within blocks of both the Biltmore and Old Town Scottsdale, you truly are in the middle of everything. Next, while one of the Historical Hotels of America, they've managed to upgrade... More

I knew nothing about this place except it popped up as one of the 'nice' places to stay in the Phoenix area. We had just returned from running the R2R2R in the Canyon and needed a place to 'humanize' again. WOW! This place is so special! The Rich history & architect/art is amazing! We lounged by the pool, drank ice... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Royal Palms in March, scheduled for 5 days. When we arrived, we were told our room wasn't available because someone decided not to check out or something. They then offered to put us up for one night at the Phoenician, and refund the night we missed at the Royal Palms. As disappointed as... More

Clay, We are very sorry to read your feedback about your experience in March. Please accept our sincere apologies for the way the situation was handled as this certainly does not sound like our standard operating procedures. We are currently looking into the refund with the third party site that you booked through. Thank you for your patience while we... More

Ended a weeklong traveling trip at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa. Three days was not enough could of easily spent the entire week. The resort was immaculate and in a convenient location. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The Casita was larger and homeier than the pictures depicted. The patio was private and beautiful... More

My girlfriend and I stayed one night at this hotel on our way back to Portland. It was terrific. We arrived from the Sedona area at 1 pm, requested a room upgrade for a moderate fee, and were checked in right away. The bell staff took care of our bags as soon as we drove up, too. I noticed that... More

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly employees. The rooms and restaurants were exceptional. Everyone there greets you and are professional. This was a great vacation spot and everyone wanted to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

Went here for our anniversary, certainly beautiful place but their staff is unprofessional and in need of serious training. Waitress ignored us when happy hour ended, had to just leave cash in the take for our two drinks. Maid left door open when cleaning our room letting all kinds of bugs in. I awoke to 13 mosquito bites the first... More

My family and I stayed just for one night on our way to the Grand Canyon and did not want to leave. The whole hotel was immaculate and atmospheric and the staff in particular were extrememy helpful and friendly, professional to their finger tips.
