My wife and I chose Royal Palms to spend our wedding anniversary last week and we could not have chosen a better place. We wanted a quiet resort with a good spa and good food along with elegant accomodations and Royal Palms suited our wishes to a T. Summer is off-season and the hotel had a wonderful deal with a... This resort is in a beautiful setting. The food is excellent, the spa is wonderful and the layout of the rooms allows for privacy. This resort is beautifully designed and walking the grounds offers something new to view at each turn. I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The staff makes you feel like you... More

The hotel seemed fairly quiet when we arrived; not an issue for us but others might want a bit more pace. There are a lot of open spaces with lovely gardens and mountain views. Our mountain vista room was in a block overlooking a courtyard and view of Camelback. The room was fine, not massive but ok for 2 people.... More

This was a wonderful experience. The hotel is intimate, beautiful, and the staff very courteous. TJ Cook's provided a beautiful dinning experience, with both atmosphere and service. The meal was delicious. As we were celebrating a wedding anniversary, the complimentary dessert at the end of our meal was a wonderful touch to end the evening.

Great place to stay with a touch of authentic Spanish, Mediterranean, Hacienda style five star hotel ambience. Truly enjoyed the atmosphere even in 107 degree weather. Phoenix and Scottsdale are great places to visit. Don't forget to go 2 hours north to Sedonna--great place to visit.

Just got back from girls weekend in Scottsdale and this time we stayed at Royal Palms. Great room for 3 ladies and genuinely nice staff. Jennifer at Reception, Jim our favorite valet/bellman and the restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly and helpful. Dinner at TJ Cook's was divine, the Pacific Black Cod and the roast beet salad was... More

First, I would like to compliment the Royal Palms for their on site restaurant and wedding planning services. From where I stand, that is the only praise I can give. I was a guest at a wedding this past weekend, and to say that the reservation team was unprofessional, inconsistent and completely overwhelmed would be an understatement. I was incredibly... More

This gem of the desert has lost its luster. This is the sixth summer in a row my boyfriend and I have spent a long weekend at the Royal Palms, and this year the entire weekend certain things just seemed "off". It started with the check-in process, the desk had mixed up our names so our reservation could not be... More

What a beautiful little oasis! We loved the tasty mojitos and lunch by the pool! The pool staff were very friendly and attentive, constantly refilling water and providing more delicious drinks. The room was very comfortable, but would have loved to still have the option of using the fireplace at night, for the ambiance it provides. Beautiful grounds and gardens... More

If I had the money I would live at this resort year round. It was quiet, romantic, and peaceful. The service is impeccable. I have never felt so welcomed. Everyone from the bell staff to the pool staff was on their "A" game.
