This is a review to the restaurant, not the resort as a whole. Food just Ok, menu quite short and limited, but at least they had fish in Arizona and it was edible, so hats off for that. Service was quite good and environment wonderful.

Great experience. My room was spacious and lovely. The property was beautiful, and staff was very helpful and friendly. I only at breakfast onsite, but it was delicious and the staff very attentive. Highly recommend this hotel! I would go back anytime.

Stayed for a single night on a recent spring training trip with my family. My daughters had never really stayed in a luxury resort of this caliber, but they quickly adapted to resort life. The grounds are beautiful, with the sweet smell of orange blossoms from their orchard enjoyed throughout. Wonderful spa, and comfortable, relatively uncrowded pool area with great... More

Great resort in many ways. Be careful with the rooms. We had a "designer casita" which was less than a Motel Six" room in many ways. Our kids got a wonderful room for less money. Management really doesn't care what you think. Because it is an old resort there are many, many rooms from awful to wonderful. No way to... More

Friends and we have enjoyed the HAPPY HOUR Drinks and Appetizers at the MIX UP bar for over a year. We many times show up on Fridays, but other days are great too. Thursday nights are Burger and Bourbon nights at the bar ... how can you lose! There is both intimate indoor seating and beautiful courtyard seating available. SCRUMPTIOUS... More

You will find the west side casitas professionally designed by ASID members. Such attention and care in the architectural details from historic Mexican granite stones at the entry courtyard to salvaged timber and commissioned, custom curved brick columns. Immaculate gardens and spot lighting of pathing throughout the grounds. Bring extra water if you take morning strolls near Camelback mountain. This... More

I only ended up at this hotel quite by accident. My children and myself got stuck in Phoenix this weekend late Saturday night and had to find a place to stay. I was shocked when the cab dropped us off here. From the minute you check in at the small but posh reception area you are in an oasis! The... More

The grounds of the Royal Palms are like a botanical garden. The fountains, winding paths are so calming and with a backdrop of Camelback Mountain, its perfection. I thought the room could of used a little updating but enjoyed the room setup with lounge area, large bathroom and separate bedroom area. Service in all areas was outstanding. I truly felt... More

Stayed her two nights in March and absolutely loved it! They automatically upgraded us and the rooms and resort were so charming. Warm , lush...- elegant. Breakfast in the morning at their restaurant was great and the service great. Nothing to find flaw in except that I would have the bathroom faucets updated, but here I was trying hard to... More

I haven't stayed over night but I hear the rooms, service and amenities are top notch. As a meeting location, its a great location, not too big but with room to spread out and ample outdoor space to soak up some sun between meetings. The breakfast and lunch setups are excellent and mouth watering.
