I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. If this was Phoenix putting out the welcome mat for the 2009 Volleyball Festival, I’d say, try the Sheraton. The Wyndham is suspended in the middle of a renovation from its construction in 1973 to a style that’s rather more updated, say, 1979. The pre-renovation suites have glittery popcorn ceilings, long track lights... more

Location: We stayed here for a convention, and chose it over the other two hotels right next to the convention center. 1 minute walk to the Convention center, 5 minute walk to: Arizona Place (restaurants and bars), children's museum and D-Backs game. Hotel: Bar serves just appetizers. Valet parking about $23 a night and seems to be the only option... more

I was attending several meetings including sessions at the convention center and Board meetings at the Wyndham. The walls are paper thin -- I could hear the folks in the room next to me belching, for example. That was least of the problems, though. For both Sat and Sun the hotel had booked a band on the pool deck 10... more

I stayed at the hotel for a week whilst attending a conference. It was situated in downtown Phoenix close to the convention centre and the tram which runs too and from the airport. This is the best way to get to the hotel costing only £1.25.The hotel was clean and the decor in good order. There was free, if rather... more

The rooms were decorated very nicely. Desk arrangement is great for doing work. Had a problem with the toilet but maintenance responded very quickly to fix it though a return visit was necessary. There is low speed internet available for free or high speed for $9.95 per day. The free service is adequate for e-mail and general web browsing. The... more

I stayed at t his hotel for a National convention on April 16 to the 19. The trip was very convienet, as I live near by. The check took a while, as everyone was checking in at once, and we all did not have a room ready, so we all placed or bags in one room, and went to register.... more

This was not the main headquarters for the conference but had a large contingent of attendees. They handled the crowd well. Rooms were comfortably modern and well kept. Didn't eat in the main restaurant, but the bar had a nice small plates menu with very pleasant ambiance. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. They were a bit understaffed... more

Last week myself and 4 friends stayed at the hotel, mainly because is was located close to Chase Field and central to other things we were going to do. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very nice. The only problem I have is that we had a rental vehicle and we used the valet parking a few times.... more

I was booked into this hotel for a convention and was a little worried by past reviews. Since I could not change anything, I decided to hunker down and put up with whatever happened. Well, what a great surprise! This hotel has been re-done and the job is well done. My room was modern, very clean and well appointed. There... more
