My stay at this hotel had both good and bad moments. For example, the lobby is beautiful and the hallways look new, but when I looked closely in my room I saw tattered linens and soiled furniture. Similarly, the staff was nice, but service was slow (it took almost 30 minutes for them just to bring me a room service... More

The Renaissance has a wonderful lobby. One of the most beautiful I've seen lately and mind you, I stay in hotels every week. Great bar area, very inviting and chill. Love it! The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and bars...everything is walking distance. My room was great. Clean and fresh! The bed was so comfortable I couldn't believe it.... More

Downtown Phoenix is not exactly a popular destination in the middle of a hot, humid summer - which explains the low convention rate we had while attending a conference there in July. The hotel was undergoing a renovation, which rendered half the elevators out of commission. This is NEVER a happy development during a conference, when you get hundreds of... More

The Renaissance Phoenix Downtown is one of the better in the chain. A perfect location with valet parking ($29), the valet, bell, concierge, and desk staff were all very pleasant and attentive. Rooms were nice sized, well appointed and quiet. While the elevators were being modernized, I did not have to wait long. Nice, spacious, and modern lobby with free... More

Stayed there recently for an event at the Phoenix Convention Center. They were located only 1.5 blocks away and a 3 minute walk. Since we didn't have a car this was great since the temperature was 110+ degrees the entire week I was there. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The hotel itself was very nice and the rooms... More

Those pesky elevators! Thanks for your understanding on that point, as it's never a good time to undergo modernization yet it has to be done. We're so glad you enjoyed your time with us and how close you were everything! More

Great location for spending time downtown Phoenix. Within easy walking distance of US Airways Center arena and Chase Field ballpark. Many restaurants and lounges in the area. Hotel looks old from outside (built in 1975) but the inside is modern, sleek and clean. We had plenty of notice that 2 of the elevators were out of service for upgrades. This... More

I stayed here recently for a conference and the hotel surpassed all my expectations. From the super-friendly front desk guys to the room and accommodations, everything was great. There was a mishap on a breakfast order one morning, and not only did they quickly correct the mistake, but they comped me. I didn't expect to have my meal comped, but... More

Nice rooms and helpful staff. Close to the stadium and lots of restaurants and pubs. Bathroom set up was nice with the toilet and shower separate from the sink. Roof top pool looked nice and relaxing. Will have to come back and try it another time!

Hotel is top notch and conveniently located. Customer service is excellent, especially the concierge lounge attendees. Both times that I have stayed at this hotel, the concierge lounge attendees went above and beyond to help me.

From the moment we arrived this Hotel has excelled in ambiance, location and most notably customer service and support. Being what some consider well traveled I am compelled to give this my highest ranking of four. (no fives from me ever). From management to house staff...excellant. I didn't care to much for the tiled bath floors but the fixtures were... More
