Was there for a convention. First room was lovely until I went into the bathroom. Shower was filthy. Front desk was very concerned and moved me to a different room. That bathroom was also filthy. Front desk advised no other rooms to move me to and said someone would come up and clean the bathroom. Nobody ever came to clean... More

Just stayed here to take the kids to a show downtown. It is a good effort at a retro fit of an older hotel. Rooms are a little bit smaller for being older; however, they are well furnished and comfortable. Be careful stepping out of the shower as it is a big step down, but it is otherwise a nice... More

The room we stayed in was so small that we couldn't walk between the two beds. The common areas were nice but the room was seriously pitiful for the price. Breakfast buffet was good but once again pricey. Location wasn't great either but then there's not much in downtown Phoenix. Skip Phoenix and head to beautiful Sedona instead!

I'm so sorry you thought your room was too small for your needs. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to know the room number so we can check this out and address any issues. Downtown Phoenix has quite a bit to offer the leisure traveler - bowling alley, comedy club, restaurants, and sports venues to name a few! More

Great location for the convention center. Lots of places in the area for a quick bite as well as nice meals. Great bars for after conference socializing. Easy walk to everything. The hotel was typical. Clean lobby but very loud with the bar across from the front desk. Front desk staff friendly. The first room door lock wouldn't accept my... More

I stayed here for one night. The hotel was easy to find and clean. The gym was awesome! The room was spacious and clean. I ordered room service that night and got some chocolate cake and ice cream and the service was good and so was the cake. Next morning had some pancakes and bacon, which were really good too.... Very good location for the Phoenix convention centre and sports location. I stayed on 12 floor and it was very well kept. Room was clean and well appointed. Only breakfast and lunch served in restaurant (excellent coffee!) and lounge for evening. Prices for food actually reasonable for downtown hotel. The staffers very friendly and overall I would recommend this hotel.

The Renaissance Phoenix is a great place for business or pleasure travelers. I recently stayed there during my one night trip to Phoenix for business. From the front door greeters to the main check in desk I found the staff extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. My only recommendation is if you plan to work out,... Was recommended to stay at another hotel by family in Connecticut that has stayed at the W in Scottsdale. I wanted to visit the downtown and see some of the hills and view before leaving back for Europe the next day. Hotel is old. It was clean (except for the restaurant carpet that was clearly in urgent need of replacement).... More

We stayed at the Renaissance for 5 nights. The staff was extremely nice and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was nice and a good size. There was plenty of storage space for our things. I was impressed with the number of clothes hangers!! The hotel is an easy walk to the conference center and to... More

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Phoenix in downtown Arizona for a conference. I experienced the best customer service of any hotel I have ever stayed at and I have stayed at quite a few. Everyone that worked there was extremely friendly, from the valet to the front desk to the club level lounge. They all seemed to really enjoy... More
