First of all, the decor is fit for Count Dracula. Spooky, odd, and the photos are out of place. The front desk staff was not helpful or friendly. The restuarant was closed, and there is no continental breakfast or coke machine. There was not enough parking for the guests and I never knew who was lurking in the shadows. There... more

This was THE WORST hotel EVER! GROSS! DIRTY! YUCK!!! I did book this at a cheap rate, but Expedia had it at about $150. Outside is gross. Right next to a porno shop though--very conveinent. THe girl at check in was a snot. I am a single woman business traveler. I travel ALOT. There is a smarmy guy at the... more

Check in for me was a breeze, but an unhappy group before me had had its messages lost and it took them quite a while to get settled. Lobby is dark, dingy, and full of cheap art. Could be seen as festive if not for such gloominess otherwise (black rug--what were they thinking?). Total of 20 watts (OK, maybe 60)... more

If odd is your thing, and you have no qualms about comfort, then maybe this is the place to stay. Being that I can get poor pillows, uncomfortable beds, and a very noisy air conditioner for a fraction of the price I will not be staying at the Artisan again, even if I were going to ignore the bizarre decor... more

Being a Flight Attendant I stay at many many hotels. This one was the worst I have EVER been in. The hotel charged an extra 91.00$ to my credit card but had no record of doing do. The manager was not helpful at all in finding a resolution to the problem. It still hasnt been resolved. The pool is ice... more

This place is surreal! Our room was very nicely decorated,,,and that is the only good thing I can say positively about the place. Lobby was way too dark and they need to rethink the art they have there...I love art, but it has it place and suggestive nudes do not belong in a hotel lobby IMO. The staff was VERY... more

This hotel is listed as a boutique hotel only because most of the rooms are not fit to rent. The restaurant is closed. Pool is really cold. Does not have a fitness room. Do not take family! They do not state that there are bad nude pictures on the ceilings and wall in lobby, in room and in all the... more

I checked into this weird hotel, walked in my room, turned around, and checked out. I have never been in a worse hotel. The rooms are furnished with the original 1960's furniture- and it was bad then. There is NO WAY this hotel is anywhere near a three star. Women traveling alone- DON'T STAY HERE! The entire hotel looks like... more
