We were just there the last week in Feburary 2008 and hope to return. Our accommadations were nice. (2 BR-2 Bath) The furnishings were older but okay. The weather was great so we did not nead the heating or air conditioning which was good as it was so loud when starting we left it off during the night. The staff... More

(Booked 3 months prior) Got checked into our room just before 7pm to find that the room had been missed for cleaning. (Yuck) Stuff everywhere, fecal matter in toilet...I'm sure you can imagine. When we went back to front desk, they told us that there were totally booked and that they would have to call the cleaning staff back in.... More

After traveling clear across the country, we were disappointed with the difference in amenties and cleanliness compared to what was printed in the RCI book through which we booked our unit. The 2 bedroom unit is very spacious and the full size washer and dryer was awesome. However, the carpet was badly soiled, the pool was unable to be used... More

Because of a sudden change in itinerary we made a reservation at Canyonview Resorts Club South Mountain Preserve from a 'last minute deals' website. What a pleasant surprise. The check in was very quick and easy. The rates were unbelievably reasonable and the room was impressive. Very clean, beautifully decorated with full kitchen, bath, walkin closet, flat screen TV and... More

We stayed here over Thanksgiving while visiting friends and family in Phoenix. Whilst the rooms leave something to be desired the staff here are excellent. The hotel is well situated to get to most of the surrounding attractions. Although the hotel appears to be going through some kind of expansion or renovation it should be nice when finished. I have... More

My fiance and I visted Phoenix, Arizona for 5 days but only stayed in Canyonview for two nights. This villa made our vacation so much more enjoyable. It was the cheapest price from any other hotel on Orbitz and we got more than I'm sure we would have from a franchise hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious, very clean, and... More

My husband &I just got back from an anniversary trip to the Grand Canyon. On our way through,we stayed for a couple days in Phoenix at the Canyonview Resort. We were very impressed with this condo community. We paid around $85/night for our mid-week stay. The condo was a 1bdrm with a modern decor that included a 4 person table,... More

Although I realise they are in the process of upgrading the property, I would NEVER visit there again. The buildings were lovely, spacious rooms but the renovations had been done "on the cheap" - eg: cheap MDF cupboard doors and interiors that are hard for housekeeping to keep clean, mismatched crockery and bent cutlery, a waste disposal that didn't work... Nice walking trail in ajoining mountains---resort is at end of SanFranscio St. behind office bldgs & consists of 1-2-3 bedrooms some w/garages however it is still not... More

This property is in transition from the Aristar Resorts to the Canyon View Resorts Club. I think it is a timeshare property now. We recently stayed there and found the size of the resort suite we stayed in was very large. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath. The furnishings were quite bland but I took into consideration that the property... More
