This is not a motel you would stay in if you are looking for something on the high end but it is motel where you can get a good rest. The area where it is located is not the best but you are close to the airport and there's a filiburto's (good Mexican takeout) around the corner. The room was... More

We stay in hotels 30 to 40 nights a year, and up until now I have only responded with good reviews, but this one merits an exception. This was reserved thru ChoiceHotels, First mistake. The room had no place to hang clothes, no chairs, holes in the walls, but newly painted. Paint over the outlets, door hardware, on the floor,... More

My friend and I stayed in this motel after missing a connecting flight out of Phoenix and needed a place to crash until the next flight the following morning. It was super late, and nearly every other hotel in the area was booked. It is about 8-10 minutes down the road from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. We payed $125... More

Well, you get what you pay for; No coffee maker, no clothes hangers, no toilet paper holder, no Kleenex, but for 40 bucks, what do you expect? When I checked in, the girl said: "wow, you got this room cheap, we usually get $70. For this room. HA! Suffice it to say, I've stayed in worse.

1. No light outside door. 2. Opened door, beds not made, no towels, complained and got another room. 3. No face clothes, two small bath towels. 4. Room not made up four nights straight. 5. No Wi-Fi. 6. Dirty floor in bathroom and carpets feel like walking on sand. 7. Pillows flat as pancakes. 8. Scalding hot shower, could not... More

In a rather industrial area of Phoenix. Clean enough, bedding mattress pad asn't connected and moved all around otherwise bed was comfortable enough. Big room, only one wash cloth and nothing was plugged in when we arrived for whatever reason we had to go around plugging in the tv, microwave, fridge, and lamps. Some holes in the wall where the... This hotel is actually across the street from Knights Inn. Which is 10.00 cheaper. Now for all I know Rodeway may be safer by a small margin. It is a really bad area. The hotel was ok, but one of the lights didn't work inside in the bathroom. I had to keep the outside light on by the bathroom mirror... More

Having read both glowing reports and horror stories from other reviewers, I was ready to see more of cockroaches than front desk personnel unless I got one of the remodeled rooms. So I called soon after making my Travelocity booking and asked for one of the newer rooms, which I apparently received. I also asked for second floor (less chance... More

This Rodeway Inn, on Van Buren In Phoenix, is near the airport. Staff went extra miles for requests, the room was super clean (even if the construction finish in the room was not really good), everything worked wonderfully, fantastic price. Only downfall was the neighborhood. But it was well lit, surrounding properties were also hotels, and no junked cars nor... More
