I don't know where to start... I traveled to Phoenix as a last minute decision from Vegas (I'm originally from the UK and travelling America). Camel Backpackers seemed to have all the facilities I was looking for so I went ahead and booked it, conscious of them getting fully booked etc. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by Ali... Stayed here for a few nights with friends when coming through Pheonix This hostel is amazing Spotless, with a full kitchen that is so clean it scream out 'use me!!' Beds are so comfy and don't squeak. Bathrooms are clean and the shower is ace I had a great stay and can happily say it was one of the nicest... More

Ive stayed there twice now, once in 2013 and again 2 mths ago. I found the staff super friendly, the place is really chill and not to mention almost brand new. The beds were very clean and the aircon worked really well. Which in phoenix is really important. Will stay there again.

I was only here one night, but wish I had time to stay longer. I was in the private room, which was spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. The staff were friendly, and you can't beat the location. Highly recommended!

I knew as soon as I stepped in the door and was welcomed with "Checking in? Welcome! Can I get you some water!" that this was going to be the friendliest place I've ever stayed. The staff (in particular Sidney)were so friendly and helpful. We had the private room which was huge, really comfortable and clean. In fact the whole... More

The mixed sleeping room was awful. Too many loud mouth males wanting female attention ! Very annoying . I think mixed dorms are OK if the men have boundaries & they consider many of us female travelers actually NEED to sleep not just to party.

I had a four night stay here in February 2014. This is the best Hostel PERIOD! Like other reviews say, they thought of everything, tons of room, very clean, and modern. Parking doesn't seem to be an issue. They attract a great crowd! The light-rail train is within reasonable walking distance (if you are able to walk ~1 mile). There... More

I only stayed here for one night, but it was very good. You have lots of space. The bedrooms are mixed, but that was no problem for me. People were very friendly! Everything clean and the beds are comfortable. I also stayed in the Metcalf House, which was really good, but I liked this one even better. For me, the... More

You'll want for nothing in the safe, clean, modern, friendly renovated home. They also have items for sale at low prices that you may need. It's like staying at a friend's house, without imposing. They are very accommodating. The historic neighborhood is beautiful lined by massive old palm trees. Bikes are available to rent for $5,so you can ride around... More

This place was awesome! This was the first hostel I had been to and was really impressed. We originally planned to stay here during a photo conference. When I had called to confirm, it ended up something happened with our reservation and it was lost. At first I was upset, but then they came back and found accommodations for us... More
