This boutique hotel has got its act together! The kindness & helpfulness of every clerk, server, cleaner and every other person here was over the top. This is a must for anyone coming into town. I travel the country working in the hotel business and this had amenities and personality others only dream of.

No couples massage available. Best to take the "and Spa" off of the name of your hotel, because one massage therapist that is "on call" does not a spa make! Additionally (and this is a small thing), the annoying "beep beep" while I was on hold did not add the the attractiveness or ambiance of the property AT ALL. Soft... More

This is now my 3rd year in a row celebrating my birthday/Memorial Day weekend at the Clarendon and each year is better than the last, even as I get older. Heed Mr. Bethel's advice, take the rate from the 3rd party booking sites and contact the hotel direct. They will match the rate and avoid paying a service fee to... More

I'm normally a very laid back traveler. I try to keep a good attitude and low expectations. I travel for business, a lot. In fact, as of checking into the Clarendon tonight, I haven't seen home in exactly a month. I prefer to support local businesses, so when I can find a small hotel, I usually book it. I have... More

Thank you so much for your review - we take these matters seriously, and I'm sorry that you had to experience this level of room quality. I checked the maintenance log and the room's carpet had been cleaned May 5th, so if it was stained, my apologies. We try to stay on top of this, but this is just a... More

I was there for 5 days attending a conference at the convention center. The staff was amazing. My package included a hot, menu ordered, breakfast. The restaurant had amazing food. It was so good my colleague and I even at dinner there. The front desk staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to make you happy as a... More

You go into the lobby and you wonder "oh boy, what did I get myself into" But then the rooms are nice and modern and the restaurant attached is super nice, and that pool is super funky!! lol I love the rainbow tiles but at night when they turn the lights on it looks like the bottom of the pool... The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious, the shower was very good. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good, cooked to order. The location was ok, just a few miles from downtown. Free parking was nice.

I spent a night there to get away for a much needed relaxing escape. I was so glad I did. My room was wonderful! It was on the 4th floor with a floor to ceiling window overlooking the pool area. It looked so awesome with the fiber optic lights on the pool floor! The staff was fantastic and the bed... More

In a lot of ways the Clarendon was a welcome change from the usual chain or business hotels I'm used to. The vibe is more Vegas and less Palm Springs. The staff are beautiful & friendly, there are free bikes to borrow, and a hip pool & rooftop scene on the weekends. Food at the restaurant is also very good.... More

My husband and I are traveling alone now, and were seeking a February getaway. This hotel and area were different, relaxing, great. In February, we could climb in nearby "mountains", shop in nearby shopping areas. In the afternoon, we would return to this fabulously different hotel. The hotel has kind of a 50s vibe, with some updates. The pool is... More
