Hotel is a bit dated but well kept. Rooms are large with plenty of room for a small family (4-5). Location is fine. Several restaurants within short driving distance. 15 minute drive to the airport without traffic. Bed was very comfy. Rooms are able to maintain a cool temperature despite 100+ degree temps. Ate at the restaurant. Can't recommend it.... More

My 13 year old son and I stayed here on a quick trip during spring training. We liked the location on a golf course and the easy access to Salt River Fields, Scottsdale, the Zoo and the Botanical Gardens. We had a room on the 5th floor with a view of the golf course and the mountains. It's not as... More

This hotel is an ideal place for business or pleasure. The rooms are an excellent size and really well appointed with a kitchen area and great bathroom. There is a desk if you need to do some work and a balcony if you have more time on your hands. Breakfast is a great experience with made to order eggs and... More

We reserved a room over a month ahead of schedule, fully paid for. When we got to the hotel a couple hours early, we had been driving all night, were exhausted, & badly in need of showers. The girls at the front desk were incredibly snooty & in no way accommodating. They told us there was no possible way we... More

Dear Valued Guest. I was very sad to hear about your stay with us. It appears the service did not meet the standards we strive for on a daily basis. I did investigate some of the issues which arise during your stay to pinpoint where we may have fallen short. Though there is never an excuse for poor customer service... More

I'll get the negative out of the way first. We reserved and pre-paid for a high floor golf course/pool view room. This hotel has 6 floors. When we checked in at 3p, not only were there no high floor rooms in our room type available, there were no rooms ready at all in our room type. We we're told the... More

Embassy Suites Scottsdale (tho really Paradise Valley) is centrally located and offers a lot for the money. Great 2 hour cocktails..not just beer & wine but anything you want. Cold snacks, salsa, chips, popcorn (not fresh, but bagged) and snack mix were served. Not the best snacks but adequate. The breakfast was fantastic-cooked to order omelets or poached eggs too,... We stayed here for several nights in February around President's Weekend. All in all we liked the hotel. I agree with other reviews that the front desk reception is not the strongest. Although the bellman was quite helpful and friendly. We paid for an upgraded room facing the golf course and were told none was available. Upon further searching, the... More

We were in the area for baseball spring training games during our spring break. Let me start with the great parts of this hotel. The breakfast was excellent. Quick efficient omelet bar. Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for selecting our hotel for your recent stay with us. I really enjoyed reading your comments because there are so many items you listed which we agree with. Unfortunately only half of our hotel over looks the golf course which does limit us from accommodating all of our guest request. Therefore there is a $20.00... More

I was here from a Sunday through Thursday with a small-ish group for a business meeting. I was given a room overlooking the parking lot and the hotel entrance-- unfortunately, a high-traffic area outside the hotel. Some of the desk staff and concierge staff were a bit less than friendly, seeming bothered when I asked a question. The breakfast staff... More
