Pros: Felt safe, quiet, single person rest room in room, small lockers in room, free parking (curbside in quite neighborhood) Cons: No large locker in room (in back of property), uncomfortable bed, no autolock door

Hostel was friendly, clean, centrally located - everything one could ask for. I recommend it to all friends. Walking distance to Heard Museum and Phoenix art gallery. One bus to Botanical Gardens (about 40 minutes by bus); Filmbar is a bar with off beat films and quite interesting. One, I repeat ONE Light Rail Train to the airport. About 25... More

I stayed 3 nights here, and loved it. Clean and safe, with great staff. Katie Ann and the others help create a friendly and welcoming space in the desert. I can recommend the Cathedral Rock hike in Sedona, and the $3 house margaritas just up from the hostel at Paz Cantina.

I loved this hostel so much. It was so comfortable and homey. The staff was amazing and so kind and amiable. The other guests were also amazing and I made some cool new friends. I would recommend this hostel to everyone and anyone!

I love the location and vibe of this hostel. The staff are great and the campy feel is warm and welcoming. However, the bunk style beds are severely lacking in both construction design and size. They are super narrow, too tall, wobbly, creeky and not very stable. Several times the guy sleeping above almost pulled the bunk over trying to... More

I was working in Phoenix during Superbowl weekend a few weeks ago and needed a place to stay. There ws practically no place in PHX on Superbowl Sunday to stay within a reasonable price range, not even Airbnb. I called HI PHX last minute to ask if they had a bed and they told me they have a couch for... More

I stayed at the Phoenix Hostel for a couple of nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. The house and the beds are clean. The environment is very relaxed and there is plenty of space. The location is close to the art district, restaurants, and public transportation. Perfect spot to enjoy Phoenix!
