We had stayed 4 nights, the location was great near the freeway, many restaurants, shops and the shopping center is about one miles away. The breakfast was not so great, the coffee was not strong enough the one in the room was much better. The room was clean and really nice we did book the standard room but were upgraded... more

Although the price was cheap and the location decent, I had a TERRIBLE experience at the Ramada. Do not stay here! I did as suggested by other travelers and requested a newly renovated room for a slightly higher price for night. The room itself was nice, but the walls were paper thin- I was kept awake every night because of... more

We regret the confusion with the computers that caused us to check another party into the same room. While this is very rare in the hotel industry it does happen and the guest was wise to use the safety latch when in the room. The guest indicated that she did not hear from me but I can assure readers that...

This is the second year that I have stayed at the Ramada Plaza Hotel at Metro Center while I attended spring training baseball games. Unlike some of the recent reviews, I have enjoyed my stay. The motel's location near the Black Canyon Highway (17) makes getting around Phoenix fairly easy, considering Phoenix traffic. At the same time, I did not... more

im not a picky person and im not going to bad mouth it because of one little thing, in general the place was bad. it was in a bad area in a old building. the pool was full of junk and it smelled. it had supposedly been remodeled and we stayed in one of the remodeled rooms. tthe beds were... more

We attended the Del sol soccer tournament and we stayed in this hotel. The staff was pleasant enough, but the facilities left much to be desired. We were on the 3rd floor so it was not one of the renovated rooms. The walls are thin, and you could hear your neighbors and the traffic outside. Our toilet also clogged during... more

Thank you for your review. I am sorry taht your experience was not to your liking. I can say that the newly renovated rooms are far superior and some say the best rooms on the I-17 corridor. I hope that we can have a chance to serve you in the future and ensure that you get one of the new...

As previous posters have mentioned, the photographs are deceptive- the typical rooms are old and worn. The remodeled rooms were alright, although it had no bathtub (European-style, though I doubt that is Ramada's intent). I was very disappointed with the breakfast. Though there was a variety, it was all fairly unhealthy. Fatty meats, canned fruit in heavy syrup, rather than... more

The Ramada brand doesn't invoke images of glamor, but the stock photos of hotel were very inviting. We booked a flight and hotel package on a popular website. We noticed that the main road and freeway would probably make the north side a bit loud, so we requested and received a room on the south side. When we opened the... more

Clean room. Great staff. Nice breakfast. I wish it had a tub. Some remodeling is needed, and was underway in some rooms. Nice stay for the room rate. We were there for ten days. We would stay again. more

I think my hotel room was in serious need of remodeling. It didn't look anything like the rooms in the pictures I saw on online travel websites. It was quite old, the television barely worked (too many lines), paint was chipping and cracking on the bathroom door. I think the $1 access charge they have for all calls including 800-number... more
