The last thing I would expect myself to do is write a favorable review of a limited service property, but I really like Aloft.

First I have to say the one thing that I don't like, there are only two room types - king or double. There are no suites, no upgrades, nothing, well except that free hot beverage for Golds and Plats, but that is about it. I travel a lot, I love a good suite, but I can deal it was just one night.

This hotel brings service to the limited service property. I have some allergy issues that require my room to be cleaned in a specific manner and they did a great job on that. They even provided a cotton blanket in lieu of the comforter (because of my allergies). I rarely get that level of service at full service properties. Of course the usual stuff went well, check-in was well staffed, they have an SPG Gold/Platinum desk, but it is probably not necessary as there was only one person working.
