We recently stayed at the Doubletree Guest Suites on 2 Friday nights as we arrived in Phoenix on our way to Sedona and as we were leaving Phoenix. As reported in earlier reviews, the suite layout is very similar to Embassy Suites... living area as one enters and the bedroom in the rear with the bathroom in the middle off... more

I stayed one night because the reviews seemed so good and I noticed somewhere that the rooms had be updated in 2006. The only thing that seemed updated was the vanity in the bathroom and the beds. Also, it appeared they had added a little kitchen area with a decent size refrigerator. Other than that the furniture and decor seemed... more

We stayed here after coming in on a late flight. The bottled water and cookies were so great to get when checking in!! The room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is probably the best I've ever gotten at a hotel at this price point. Overall, this is a great hotel. more

This is one of my favorite places to stay. My wife an I always stay here before and after taking a flight out of the area - or out of the country. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff is really great and very accommodating. They serve a complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet -... more

My fiance' and I stayed at this Doubletree for two days last week. The hotel and rooms were clean, very comfortable, and good location....proximity to airport. The restaurant was good and we especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet! Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. more

We stayed here for two nights while attending the NASCAR race and exploring the Phoenix area before heading to the Grand Canyon. I used Hilton points, so the stay was free, but we still got great service. Our room was really great with a separate living room area. The hotel was arranged nicely with all the room entrances on the... more

WOW, quite impressive! Not in asthetics, but the little things this hotel provides is outstanding. Upon check-in the clerk was quick to process everything and I was off to my room. The rooms all have an outside entrance, but the entrances are WITHIN the hotel, facing the courtyard. The rooms are similar to an Embassy, two room suites with a... more

Spent 5 days in Phoenix on leisure and booked directly with Hilton Honors @ $79 weekday and $49 weekend rate. Location of the hotel can't be beat, within a couple of minutes of the airport and a bunch of freeway on-ramps, but in a quiet business area. Despite the location, I could not hear a single aircraft or car during... more

Stayed here recently for one night because I had an early-morning flight from Phoenix. My 'executive suite" was very large, pleasantly decorated, and included free high-speed internet service. The suite was equipped with a sink, a small refrigerator (mine wasn't working) and a microwave, but no stove or hotplate and no dishes or cutlery. I didn't try the restaurant, but... more
