We stayed here on June 10, 2009 for one night. We used our Hilton Points. Very nice hotel. No problems with the reservations. My wife requested a portable fan for white noise and the request was promptly filled (it didn't help...see below). The breakfast buffet was good but I still like Embassy Suites better. They had scrambled eggs, regular and... more

I am a hotel snob and have been put on budgets so I was weary about the great bargain however, this hotel should be rated a 4 star hotel. Everything was wonderful ~ clean rooms, friendly service and yummie healthy breakfast! I stayed a total of 4 nights and was very pleased! they had a full service business center, state... more

We just spent one night at the Doubletree Guest Suites at the Phoenix airport. The rooms (living room, bedroom, and bathroom) were very clean. The linens and towels were luxe. This hotel is an amazing value. There is a charge for Wifi in the rooms. However, Wifi is available free of charge in the lobby. Also, there is a business... more

We stayed here for two nights preceeding a Caravan Tour. We arrived almost two full days prior to the tour beginning, so we were looking for things to do. The manager on duty was very helpful and pleasant. While we did not find Phoenix very interesting, the hotel was very nice! more

We recently needed a hotel near the PHX airport while enroute to Hawaii. We love Phoenix and have stayed at several resort properties. However, those properties were not near the airport and did not provide airport transportation and getting a rental car would have been nonsense (we thought) since our stays were going to be one night brief stays. After... more

We have stayed at Doubletree Suites in different cities and have always had pleasant experiences. Our stay at the Doubletree Gateway Center was no different. We enjoyed a two room suite with two queen beds and a pull out couch. The accommodations were clean, updated and comfortable. A big screen TV in high definition was a pleasant surprise. The buffet... more

Normally I write a lot, but I am finding it hard not to repeat the other reviews, so I will just sum up this place as concisely as possible: This hotel is uniquely designed, with large, very comfortable suites that are a pleasure to stay in. The staff is wonderful, and the hotel has everything you would need, from a... more

I stayed here because I had a short meeting with one of the companies in the Gateway Center. The rate was good and the room was spacious. A two room suite with a small bathroom. Flat screen TV in the living area. A limited room service menu. food was ok, not spectacular. The water pressure was poor. The amenities were... more
