I stayed here for two nights and used the hotel for sleeping and breakfasting only. It provided everything I needed for a business trip and I found the staff to be helpful, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. It's very much a bustling business hotel and I would find it an unpleasant place to be for leisure, but since... more

We are so pleased that you found our hotel such an ideal location for your business trip. Since we are a few blocks from the convention center, we are proud to partner with the City of Phoenix in hosting so many important and exciting business groups to our downtown area. Now that our beautiful weather is upon us and will...

I'm a gen. mgr. of a small northern Michigan Best Western and I've gotta pass on how this hotel's staff impressed me. Every encounter from bellmen, front desk, concierge, housekeepers, and Stacy in the Club Lounge were very professional and you could really tell they enjoyed their jobs. I spent a good hour chatting with Stacy and this gal is... more

Dear Mr. Cole, I truly appreciate the time you spent in sending your comments about your recent stay here at the SPDH to me. Your comments meant alot to me, coming from a fellow General Manager. As you know, associates such as Stacey and Shaquel are no accident. Although we are happy to give them the tools to be successful,...

The Sheraton is a lovely hotel, not one i could afford myself but luckily I was there for a conference. Downtown is normally where the good bars & restaurants are but in the case of Phoenix downtown there is very little going on. You won't go hungry/thirsty but if it's shopping you want go elsewhere. Go to 'Olive & Ivy'... more

Thank you so much for your comments on our Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel. City Scape, a mixed use tower will open in June of 2010 and is just a few short blocks away. They just recently announced some terrific retail tenants that will occupy a large portion of the tower and will be a wonderful additon to our hotel, and...

I planned a meeting for our company and went around the Phoenix area to locate a good hotel that had good accommodations, meeting space and nearby entertainment. I came upon the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. They gave me the best package I could ever hope for, but when I got there for my meeting they far surpassed my expectations. Every staff... more

Where to start? Service? Well that's a mixed bag. Bad: The young woman that checked us in assured us that the room was not close to an elevator or vending. We always ask because we are light sleepers. Vending and ice were right across the hall. First impression - lousy. She also told us our room card would work in... more

The staff was ultra friendly for a large hotel. When I got lost I found my self being walked to where I needed to be by the staff several times. This hotel is a great location for nba and mlb games. There are many restraunts and a movie theater directly across the street. But this location seemed to be on... more

We stayed at the Sheraton downtown, as my husband was attending a conference at the Convention Center which is conveniently located just down the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were cheerfully given an early check-in upon request. The hotel is almost new (opened in fall 2008) and it still feels very fresh and new. Large,... more

Thank you for your wonderful gift of feedback!! I'm delighted to hear that our staff took good care of you. As you mention the hotel is still new and fresh, it is the wonderful staff and service culture that makes a new hotel a great hotel. Thank you again and I look forward to welcoming you back home very soon!!

Upon entering the reception area we were greeted by a friendly, fast, efficient receptionist. She said "your room is waiting for you." We had a great view and the room was super clean. Stayed 5 nights and each day we discovered something more to enjoy inside the hotel as the heat outside was "super hot". Receiving $5 for reusing the... more

I arrived on a Sunday - very convenient to the convention center, even if 2 blocks away in 115 degree heat. Despite the heat, the air conditioning was very efficient (I am from Alaska, so AZ was hot, and have stayed in hotels in hot climates that can't cope with the heat). The room was nicely appointed, flat screen hi-def... more

Stayed for 4 days in July where the temps rarely dropped below 96 degrees. The hotel is new and fresh, modern and reflects the Southwest surroundings. It's location is perfect for what we needed to do. We took in a D'backs game, walked to Chase. The hotel staff was terrific, there were 1200 of us conventioners and most of the... more
