Eddie, Dale and Sheri are amazing... They went beyond my expectations, the first morning I had to leave early before breakfast. So I received a text from Eddie to see what I usually had for breakfast and it would be prepped and stored in my room mini-fridge!!!!The property was wonderful...especially the solar heated pool..85 degrees at 9pm.... The breakfast spread... More

We found this place via tripadvisor. Great place to stay in Phoenix. Warm and friendly hosts and delicious, healthful food. They go out of their way to make sure they have what you need and also provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area.

We found this place via tripadvisor. This spot is wonderful. Great hosts. Beautiful rooms . Common spaces are a knockout and the saltwater pool was an amazing bonus. Honor bar and very good breakfast. Friendly but not invasive attention. Best stop on our entire trip

What a great little treasure hidden within the city of Phoenix! We really enjoyed our stay within the quaint & rustic Cowboy Casita (which met all of our needs). Dale & Sherri were very warm and friendly hosts. I really liked the key-less entry feature, the pool & hot tub! The breakfasts were very nice, healthy with a good variety... More

We are just leaving ZenYard after two great days! We originally came to Surprise, AZ. for Ranger's Spring Training games and we stayed in Surprise, moving to ZenYard for a few sightseeing days in Phoenix. Next year, we will stay with Dale and Eddie at their wonderful B&B the whole week. ZenYard was a haven set in a busy neighborhood.... More

This was my third stay at the lovely Zen Yard. It will hopefully be one of many many more. Every time I have been here I have felt welcome and surrounded by caring efficient people and nourishing rejuvenating surroundings. I have always had a reason that brought me to Phoenix, but I can well imagine that one day I will... More

Eddie was charming, Sheri was friendly and a great omelet cook, the bed was comfy and the rooms very clean. However, while the decor was cute, the very old, stained bathtub was not. Using pliers to turn on the air is rather inconvenient. They did provide an extension cord for the hairdryer since there are no outlets in the bathroom.... More

Thanks for staying with us! You are definitely right about not raining much here... every hard rain usually reveals a new spot that can be cracked and dried out from the sun especially on our flat roofs like the Cowboy Casita. When it rains in the desert it pours and comes down hard, bound to be wet in places we... More

I stayed at the ZenYard Guest House for four nights in late February and early March because I had come to Phoenix to watch spring training baseball. It's a charming, casual place to stay with the best hosts. Rooms are tastefully done and beds are quite comfortable. The property is quiet and, well, zen. It's a great place to come... More
