Hualapai Lodge is the gateway to Havasu Falls on Historic route 66. Old Route 66 is also going through a revitalization and a little bit of it is reaching Peach Springs. We lucked out and were actually there for "Fun Run" of old muscle cars. There was entertainment at the lodge, with native dancing, and pit BBQ, which provided more... More

This place is clean and everything is new and nice. The problem is it is very close to a very busy rail line where train horns blow all night long. Nobody said anything to me about earplugs at the front desk. Too bad. It was a long night. 40 minutes away is Kingman with lots of good hotels and restaurants.... More

We stayed here the night before we hiked into Supai and Havasu Falls. It was average but just fine for the night, clean and comortable. The train really does run about every 15 minutes and it's loud!! They will give you earplugs at front desk. We stayed on the train side so it was loud, not sure what the other... More

The Hualapai Lodge, on the world-renowned historical Route 66, in Peach Springs, AZ, is about two hours from Grand Canyon West. Whether you're just passing through, plan to go to the Skywalk at Grand Canyon West, or participate in the ONLY one-day whitewater Grand Canyon rafting trip the best place to stay is at the recently remodeled Hualapai Lodge on... The hotel is very nice.....comfortable beds, nice staff, well appointed rooms, etc. HOWEVER, unless you are unconscious when you sleep, it is very difficult to overlook the train. They run every 15 minutes, night and day, and blow the whistle (3 times each) approximately 30 yards from the hotel. The front desk provides ear plugs but I found they made... More

We spent a night at Hualapai Lodge before heading to the trailhead to descend into the canyon for a few nights. The Lodge provides free ear plugs at the check in desk because, allegedly, "the train runs every 15 minutes"--but we didn't hear it at all (we were on the street side of the lodge). The food was good and... More

The Hualapai Lodge was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, some more than others, but noone was rude. The beds were VERY comfortable. The hot tub was NICE! We did not have an issue with the train. Honestly, when it passed, we could hardly hear it. The price was very reasonable.

We stopped in here after our trip in Sedona/ Williams and the South rim on our way back to Nor Cal. I had somehow thought this place was closer to the canyon. (oops) We arrived around 7pm and the front desk; Not overly friendly.. But got our room on 1st floor, it was clean and bed was comfortable. We then... More

Stayed at the hotel for over 4 nights. Some friends went on the lodges rafting tour on the last day. I was waiting for my friends to finish the tour and was not allowed to wait by the pool because I was "no longer a guest" after the checkout time....even though I had stayed their for four days and my... Clean modern property. Great hot tub and pool. Concierge very helpful with planning canyon activities. On site restaurant is a real departure from typical hotel eateries. Nothing fancy but diverse and tasty. Try something with frybread. You won't be sorry.
