I was very scared to stay here after the reviews, but they wouldn't let me cancel my reservation. It is very convenient if you're doing the river trip, which is why we chose it. Otherwise is 30-45min drive from the closest town, Kingman. It's true that the train runs frequently, but since I knew this in advance I asked for... more

I work with people in the area and am in Peach Springs several times a year. I always look forward to staying here. I'd much rather stay at Hualapai Lodge than Kingman, the Grand Canyon Caverns or Seligman because I walk out the door and am at work within five minutes. The accomodations provide whaat I need. A bed, shower,... more

My friend Ralph and I stayed at the Hualapai Lodge and were pleasantly surprised! A fairly new facility, nicely decorated and very clean! We booked about 4 weeks in advance and we knew about the trains. We asked for a room in the front of the lodge and had no problems sleeping. The lodge has free WI-FI, and also two... more

This is not the Ritz! The price is reasonable for the services/amenities available. Great restraunt with low-key Hualapai natives at your service. I found the location prime for rafting and service to and from the Hualapai Ranch which was our deciding factor in our Grand Canyon West Rim experience. The location is a little odd, but you really don't hang... more

After reading other reviews on your website, we almost decided not to try staying at the Hualapai Lodge but this was the only choice in the area. We planned to stay three days and make it home base for Grand Canyon area sightseeing but there was absolutely NOTHING in the immediate area so we went on to HARRAH'S in Laughin... more

I expected a wrotten torn-down hotel and was postively surprised. didn't have dinner there- instead went for picnic. Basic but clean. NO view (don't know where they made the picture on the expedia photos), we slept on the road side- so the noise of the trains was acceptable. Couldn't open the window. All in all- for one night - if... more

Lodge is in the middle of no where. The in- lodge diner was GREAT, the little gift shop was missing alot of prices on items, but got help at the hotel desk. The check in and out was normal. Pool was a salt water pool. Very nice. Rooms were same as in most hotels, A/C worked fine, in both of... more

My family - 7 adults total - stayed here for a night and then drove down into the canyon. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the food was great, wait staff at the restaurant were very nice. We highly recommend trying some of the native dishes on the menu. I have nothing bad to say about our stay at the... more

I don't write reviews... however. Place looks OK as you drive past (do keep driving ) stop in lobby to pick up a brochure. Limit yourself to these activiities. Booked my rate through Travelocity ... when I arrived they said they had THREE reservations in my name (believe me they had the rooms - place was empty)... I required ONE... more

Booked here for 3 nights as part of our Westcoast road trip. Like most, booked for the river running. Arrived tired the first night (8PM) after our drive from Yosemite. Nobody to check us in, staff just wandering around ignoring us. Got to our room eventually, dark, small but adequate, a bit dated. Don't expect a view from any room,... more
