Stayed 1 night at this motel which had super charming retro outside decor, rooms were very basic though. Unfortunately one of the staff ladies in the morning was very cold and unfriendly which made the whole experience a lot less pleasant. Wifi only worked away from the rooms/cabins - in front of reception.

We arrived at 5 pm to find that the restaurant was closed. When we got to our room, the toilet had been used and not flushed. When there is a ghost walk tour, you can either participate (free of charge) or get kicked out of the cave and hang around above ground...we took the ghost walk tour. This is not... More

If anyone wants to see what Route 66 looked like in its heyday (and what it has become), this is it! The caverns was the only place on the mother road where it had to be expanded to 4 lanes for all of the traffic. Today, the motel has far less traffic than that. Usually only a few people staying... We stayed here on a Route 66 run...this place is memorable to me because it's very retro and I they happen to have some extremely large dinosaurs in the front which for some reason really interested me. The rooms are set up in long rows so you can park in front of the room- think No Country For Old Men... More

We checked in, and then right back out!! We booked this place because it boasted "closest hotel the Supai Falls" as we were hiking to Havasupai Falls in the morning and just needed a place to rest up before our early morning trek. The website makes it look like a cute and eclectic mom n pop type place with several... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the "Open air room". Not the most pleasant of experiences I've had. I was definitely not looking for anything fancy, however, I did not expect to feel nervous that the structure was going to fall apart, that the port-a-potty was going to be flipped on its side, or that we very well have started... There are few services on this stretch of Route 66. My sister and I were planning the walk to Supai, and stayed at the inn one night before our hike. The inn is easy to get to and easy to find, right on Route 66 with a big sign. Check in was very fast as I had pre-paid online. The... More

We stayed here before hiking Havasu trail into the Grand Canyon and the Havasupai Reservation. The hotel is dated, semi-clean, but quiet and peaceful. The plumbing works great and the shower was full strength, but the beds could use a new mattress or two from our perspective. I didn't seem to rest well, but I think it was more excitement... More

We stayed at the Caverns Inn for one night prior to our hike. To be fair, we arrived late, after 8PM in the dark, and left at 5AM in the dark. We didn't see much. When one arrives after hours, one goes to the bigger building with lots of stuff out front of it. There is a bell one rings... More

I have to say up front that we did not stay in this hotel. We booked this hotel for the night before our Havasupai hike because from what we read it was the closest to the trailhead. We arrived and asked to see the rooms prior to checking in, the woman agreed and gave us the keys to check both... More
