We stayed here because we had a planned trip to the Havasupai Indian reservation to visit Havasu Falls. Now mind you, we are not fussy people. We have stayed in 5 star accomodations all the way down to, well, the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn. Unfortunately, this place is so off the chart that a tent would have been much more... more

The Bad: Yes, it is old and dark at night and in the middle of nowhere and maybe even a little scary, but it's not as bas as some reviewers might have you believe.... The Good: We arrived at Midnite, and it did feel like the Bates Motel, but the woman who answered the door bell was very nice and... more

I made a reservation to stay here one night during Easter week. A nice lady on the phone took my reservation. Didn't give me a confirmation number, said not to worry. Well, when my family pulled up to this creepy place, they panicked. Kids (teen and a tween) started freaking out, and husband said he would rather sleep in the... more

For me, this place has some sentimental value as it reminds me of the Brady Bunch road trips my family used to take when I was a kid. It's sorta the "motel that time forgot" since the 1960s. If you don't go to stay, it's at least worth a side excursion to check out the underground caverns. If you stay,... more

The rates were low $50 (I guess the non-tourist season rate), I had 3 rooms for the family for an extended hunting trip in the area. The rooms were well maintained for the rate, the beds comfortable and the staff great. They held a Buck contest for the largest buck for the season, I cam e in 3rd. The desk... more

One night vist, 8/11/2008 - Unit B-20D (room 20) I read the mixed reviews regarding this facility but decided it would be worth a chance due to I wanted my 16 year old daughter and I to have a location closest to the Caverns. This was a mistake. We arrived at 8:30pm. The motel is located approx. 25 min. outside... more

We checked in after our River Trip and we were very disappointed! The room was gross and the bathroom was even grosser! I have attached bathroom pics for your enjoyment. Please save your money! we paid $89 for ONE NIGHT! Bugs everywhere outside and the beds were about 3inches thick and at least 25 years old. I have also attached... more

Stayed here overnight on trip to Havasupai and was very pleasantly surprized by it. It is really a throw-back motel that is clean and hospitable. We arrived after hours, but were still treated by a friendly who even opened the store up so we could get a couple last minute items. If you are an "off-the-beaten-trail" type person, you will... more

If you are looking for something fancy, then this is not the place. If your looking for great hospitality, friendly service, excellent food (the breakfast buffet is insane & the dinners are awesome!), a clean quiet place to sleep, then you can stop looking because this place has it all. My family of six (young ones & teenagers) had an... more

We stayed at the Caverns Inn on 4/14 during our 10 day San Simeon/Grand Canyon/Las Vegas road trip. After doing the Hualapai River Runners day trip our of the Hualapai Lodge, we hopped in the car for the 12 mile drive down route 66 to the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn. This is an old school 50s style motel, but it... more
