We planned a trip to Vegas for a week and wanted to visit Grand Canyon. We didn't want to lose too much Vegas time so rather than making the road trip to the National Park, we decided on visiting Grand Canyon West. If you have read reviews already, you'll probably be pretty confused about whether or not this is a... More

We stayed here for one night when we visited the West Rim. You stay in a cabin that is right next to the old western town. It looks just like the western towns you would see in the movies. They have a lot of activities during the day like horseback riding, archery, mechanical bull riding, horse drawn carriage ride, etc.... More

This ranch is exactly what I was looking for in my search for a weekend before our convention in May. I wanted to have the view - I didn't care about the amenities and I wanted the charm. I had a wonderful clean cabin overlooking the rim. I couldn't have asked for more. Quite truthfully, it you are looking to... More

These cabins have air conditioning, private bathrooms, and electric. Other than that, they are pretty basic. We enjoyed our stay here and would like to stay again one day. The staff was friendly. There was a campfire at night and some stores by day, if you are interested in that. They also have a restaurant that served some pretty good... More

The bed by the window the bed frame and floor creeked way to much that it woke up the other person, cabin 4. Disappointed that there was No S'more campfire nor Cowboys telling stores. Dinner was sold at a discounted rate but kitchen closes at 8pm, if you miss this you will be starving. No place to eat near by,... More

Do not go unless you want to pay $45 dollars per person just to see the edge. This is the only way to see it. The land is owned by a tribe and they are ripping people off. It's ridiculous to expect people to pay that much to see a natural wonder. We drove almost 2 hours to simply have... More

We'd advise anyone considering staying here that it really isn't a destination but rather someplace you stay when en route to a more significant stop. The pluses- quaint, clean little cabin a short drive from the west rim. Breakfast was fine- coffee, pancakes and precisely two slices of bacon. The not so good- The rooms are advertised as overlooking the... More

The one reason to stay here would be the fact you can go to sleep overlooking the Grand Canyon and wake up (at 5am which is a must) and view the sun rising over the Canyon. The lodges are small, but cosy with two beds and a great shower. No tvs or phones and they don't allow alcohol as its... More

When we booked a room at the "ranch", we knew it had been coined as a "tourist trap." So, we went with that expectation in mind. We were pleasantly surprised! The setup was a little corny with the wild west theme and the cowboys on site. However, the cabins were adorable and very comfortable! The staff was super friendly and... More

We stayed here one night, small little cabins with a bed and bunker/couch style bed. They had nice really thick towels in the bathroom. Everything was pretty clean and the staff was friendly. The food wasnt anyhing super and the options are limited to a choice between 2 for supper @ $25/person. Breakfast was included in the room price and... More
