After looking at about every dog friendly accomodation in the Payson area, I chose the Christopher Creek Lodge. It was absolutely perfect. Our Old English Sheepdog enjoyed the creek in front of our cabin and the nearby hiking. Bessie gives it 5 PAWS! I thought our room was super clean and the sheets had a clean smelling scent to them.... More

Stayed in tandem bunkroom. Had that log cabin feel. One room efficiency cabin with kitchenette (stocked with cooking utensils to make own breakfast/meals), bunkbeds, small sitting area, shower. Suggest you bring your own coffee. Fireplace in room but can only burn duraflame logs. Heater and fan available for climate control. Outside area has fire pit (to burn real wood), covered... More

I've stayed at Christopher Creek Lodge before in the past. I've always enjoyed my stay. This time I took my niece and invited my other niece and her family. Every one loved the cabins, the rustic look. The weather was great and the managers were very helpful when we check in and answered any question I had. I am looking... More

We drove up from Scottsdale for some fun and fishing and we got both ! The cabin we had came with a loft, which the kids loved. We called to book ahead and it was $120 per night. Then we looked on the Internet and got the same room for $89 ! We fished about. 8 miles up the road... More

We went up to stay for the night. I can honestly say we didn't want to leave. We were treated well, and were all able to sleep comfortable, which is hard for my picky family. Two thumbs up. I highly recommend this place for any getaway.

The lodge is rustic, but very comfortable and clean. It is in a beautiful setting along the creek, providing many hiking and fishing opportunities. The surrounding area on and below the rim are also great options for hikes and nature tours. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, a fire every night for guests to enjoy and get to know... The lodge was comfortable and very very clean, and the property as a whole is beautiful. The front desk was extremely helpful about accommodating our late check-in, and also letting us check in for our flight using their computer. We stayed in the motel rooms, which had thin walls. I recommend ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Love spending time here! Location is great, especially the cabins on the creek. Property managers are friendly and take care to ensure your stay is positive. We come here annually to get out of the summer heat in Phoenix. So many places to explore & hike. Convenient walking distance to local restaurant & market. There's even a little dog park... More
