We arrived around 4:00 PM on FridayJuly 25 and only stayed one night but my family stayed more . We were sharing the founders cabin with family. My family had already checked in. When we looked in the cabin it was dirty the tub had dirt in it and the dishes they provide you with to cook were still dirty.... More

*PLEASE READ OUR RESPONSE*. First of all, I am sorry that this guest did not have the time they envisioned and were unhappy with their stay. I would also like to thank the Johnson Family for choosing to have their Family Reunion here. We've been hosting Family Reunions for over six decades and it is a lot of fun! The... More

This was the best cabin that we have ever stayed in! the office was vey nice and everyone was so kind. I could not believe how clean our cabin was and how beautiful the property is. The creek was so nice, you could spend a whole day just walking around the area. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming... More

Had a lovely time, we did not spend a lot of time on the site, but it was nice to stay in the rugged mode when coming back from the various stuff to do in the area, but still have amenities like showers, stoves, and a small kitchen. There is some world class rockhounding right down the road with Diamond... More

Thank you very much for the nice review. You're right there are all kinds of neat things to do nearby. We are in the process of putting together a "favorite's check list" of places to visit and things to do. Glad you got to see some wildlife too. That is always a nice bonus. Take care and thank you again.... More

This place is definitely old & needs a bit of work. We rented a cabin, supposedly for up to 8. That would have been interesting! The one bathroom is very small, allows one person at a time. The stove & oven is smaller than standard. There is very little counter space for food prep and/or drying of dishes. Bring your... More

We live in the Phoenix area, which, of course, is very hot this time of year, so we thought a quick getaway to the cooler mountain country would be nice. The lodge was located off the beaten track, so it was quite and pleasant. The room was nice, and the creek was just a short walk away. We enjoyed our... More

This is a charming, rustic little lodge nestled in the Pines at 6000 ft. elevation. It is a family run operation making it a friendly respite from the large hotel chains. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful with local dining and sight seeing tips. We were in one of the motel rooms, even though small, it was clean... More

Some friends and I stayed over a weekend at Christopher Creek Lodge. The accommodations were simple but adequate. The cabin room with bunkbeds was a fun change for 4 adults to enjoy. Everything was clean. The staff was very helpful with information about local things to do, hikes, fishing, eating. The whole lodge area felt very safe to walk around... More

If you're looking for a rustic, peaceful, get away from the city kinda place, this is the place to go! This was my first visit to the Lodge, but it will not be my last. The cabins, which I recommend, are very comfortable.

Very nice staff, motel rooms are very basic but stay away from room 6 as it is right next to the office and you have no choice but to annoyed by constant traffic and conversation. The creek supposedly has fish but could have fooled us. Nonetheless if you are looking for a very basic and cool getaway, then this place... More
