Super cute cozy place nestled off the main row. Quiet, friendly, clean, plenty of towels and pillows. We will be coming here for future stays. We come up to Payson often to beat the heat and have stayed at a few of the local hotels and this one is our new favorite. Very accommodating for our smallish 25lb dog too.

Initially we were disappointed to find that Best Western had closed in Payson, where we had stayed a couple of times before. However we were so happy to check into Majestic Mountain Inn after reading such positive reviews on Tripadvisor. The young lady who checked us in was so helpful, walking us to the room, and even carrying in a... More

This hotel was recommended to us. It is beautiful, with big comfortable rooms, private outside sitting areas. The grounds are very green, and pretty. It's a great place to spend some time. It has an outdoor pool. And right next door is Fargo's restaurant. Which is # 1 for us when we go to Payson. Terrific combination.

This is a very tidy and quaint motel. Since Payson is pretty much in the center of Arizona It's a great place to stop for a night or two. The rooms come with one of the better small breakfast that I have had in my travels, complementary soda and water all day, and fresh cookies in the evening. Book a... More

The Majestic Mountain Inn is by far a best find! The room was immaculate and the desk staff was warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to find us a perfect room for our 2 daughters, our dog, and my husband and myself. The daily breakfast was small and comfy and the grounds were immaculately groomed. There was... More

We have been coming to the majestic mt. Inn for over 8 years......every time we have stayed all went well, our little service dog Sofie is alway greeted with smiles, Brenda the manager does a great job as well as all her staff, we do miss Carley as she really knew the meaning of customer service. We stopped in Payson for one night before descending to Phoenix and the heat. The hotel has been around a while, as noted by the many regulars we met there. Several had been coming to the Majestic for years. The rooms were slightly dated but comfortable. The staff was friendly and informative. Many rooms have a patio facing a mutual... More

My wife and I checked in to the Majestic Mountain Inn, on Saturday, 20 June; Room #150. Immediately upon going into the room we noticed a very heavy disinfectant smell. We knew we couldn't stay there. I went back to the front desk to just return the keys and we were going to just chalk it up to a bad... More

I'm truly sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your room. I do apologize about the disinfectant smell due to the fact the housekeeper had just finished deep cleaning the spa and bathroom. We do want to assure our rooms are perfectly clean for each new arriving guest. I have spoke with the front desk clerk and she apologizes... More

Ditto on all the positive reviews! We stayed here two nights for our anniversary in April, 2015. Loved it. Very clean and comfortable. Kudos to staff and management. Can't wait to return! Some tips: eat at Fargo's Steak House but skip the buffet at the casino. Visit Tonto Natural Bridge and be sure to wear really good walking/hiking shoes.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We got a Luxury King room that had a fireplace and hot tub. We wanted to be in a specific location of the property, in the back, and the lady at the front desk had no problems accommodating us. We were very happy with our room. It was very large and... More
