We needed a stop-over on our way from Phoenix Airport to Canyon de Chelly and chose Payson because of convenient driving distances. I decided for the Majestic Mountain Inn based on reviews on tripadvisor.com and was not disappointed. The Majestic Mountain Inn is excellent value. The room was large and had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. A fridge... More

This hotel has great potential but needs some big changes. Our first impression was aa good one, the grounds are nice, good location nice buildings. On closer inspection we found that our room was dirty, dead bugs on the entry way floor, sticky table tops, a front door covered in grime, scuffed walls. The rooms are nicely appointed, with comfortable... More

We stayed in a beautiful room which included a hot tub and fire place. Room was immaculately clean and staff went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction, from dining reccomendations to area information. We stayed here a few years ago and the rooms have shown much improvement. We will definately return!

We just wanted a nice night out of the Phoenix summer heat. Loved the giant clean two person hot tub. Hated the loud of ineffective A/C. Bed too firm and pillows rocks of foam. Rest of room clean and adequate. Not thrilled about shared patio space being smoker friendly. Breakfast best skipped. Pool looked fine. We didn't try it.

I have been going up the Payson way for about 20 years now and have always just passed on by this cute little hotel. I was wanting a one night getaway from the Phoenix heat for me and my SO and looked on every "ocity" and "line" there was. I called cabins in Payson, Christopher Creek and Heber and found... More

My friend and I stayed in a deluxe 2 queen bed room that was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We also had a nice pation area looking out at a common area that had a pergola with picnic tables. Payson was a bigger town than we were expecting and Majestic Mountain Inn was more urban than we were expecting. It is right along a busy highway with a building right outside your hotel room door on one side. Normally we google earth locations to get the true picture, but failed to do so in this case. All that said,... More

We booked our motel online and were pleased even though the picture didn't seem to match. It is in Payson, AZ. It is a busy street in front but trees on the property. They have some extended stay rooms but it isn't my kind of place for that. It is a one night stand. The rooms are nice and large... More

Even the guests were friendly here! The staff was attentive and helpful. You can buy beer or wine in the lobby, and softdrinks in machines. The breakfast was good, but typical: waffles, (and with blueberries!), cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc. We loved the jacuzzi/hot tub in the room, and it was very nice to sit on the inside courtyard in...
