I've stayed in the small cabins and the big cabin both. The staff has been excellent. The cabins are clean and affordable. Lots of room to hike. Very appreciative of the pet friendly availability. Had a great family visit on Mother's Day.

We were at the Ranch House for 3 nights, 4 days during the Christmas holiday. The Ranch House was a perfect size for our group of 15 people. The amenities are sufficient enough to have a great time but a bit old-fashioned and rustic. You can rent VHS tapes, DVDs and board games for free to enjoy at the office.... More

This place was a bit further then we wanted, but we were able to do some sight seeing in places we haven't been to and it was a very quiet and beautiful location. I am sediment my coming back and highly recommend this place.

We spent a night here on the first part of October, just wanted to get away from it all. The whole experience is not a normal one, from making reservations to checking in. This is not a bad thing but if you are used to the normal online reservation process then this isn't it. First of all, there is no... More

We were looking for a place to spend the night while out and about looking at fall leaves on the mongollian rim. Quiet clean and comfortable. It was a spur of the moment trip and have found a new plae to stay when visiting the area

Stayed two nights at the Wooden Nickel Cabins. Myself, Wife and Adult Daughter. Very clean and comfortable. Everything provided was in great shape. Appreciated the Satellite TV in each Cabin to watch the Football Games on Saturday. Firewood provided for each Cabin - Could have been a little more but that was my only complaint.

Stayed in the Ranch house in the wooden nickel cabin with a group of friends. It is very good, big one. Seems to be little bit costlier. The house as such and the amenities are very good. Excellent choice for a family get together or friends get together.

The cabins are nice but everything inside is not even worthy of a thrift store. The cups and bowls are old and minimal. No measuring cups no mixing bowls just the bare minimum. If you plan on cooking bring your own utensils as well. The knives wouldn't cut through anything stronger than butter. Really! Barely cut through a piece of... More

My other half and I spent the night in the Wooden Nickel cabin and it was excellent. I never saw any carpet messed up or anything. The whole place was spotless. Yes the beds are not like yours at home, but who wants to spend that much money on people who might destroy them in the first place. I slept... More

We had a fantastic 3 day weekend in Rim Country with the Wooden Nickel Cabins as our home base. I am use to more rustic cabins, and I was actually very pleased with the amenities here, especially the front porch swings, the back yard picnic areas (picnic tables, gas grills, charcoal grills and fire pits), comfortable furniture and cable TV!...
