The room was nice, large, and very clean. The price was a pretty good deal. It was quiet. We were on the third floor. Forgot that the air-handlers were right by us so there was a humming sound all night long however you could phase it out easily. It was cold up there in Payson but the heater kept the... More

We have stayed here severs times and find that we are completely satisfied or not satisfied. The service at check in is always friendly. Questionable is the room cleanliness and the ongoing noise. The last few times we have stayed the room has not been cleaned properly. Noise from the hall, adjoining rooms, and upstairs as well as the maid... More

It is a full of life place we explored on the way between Scottsdale and Flagstag. It appears to be very popular. It is adjacent to the Tonto Apache Indian Reservation and tribal laws prevail here. No outside alcohol. The casino is standard. The buffet restaurant can be recommended. Not expensive but tasty food.

Before I made reservations at Mazatzal casino I looked up reviews and saw the bad ones, but I took into consideration that some people always try and find bad and if they didn't they'll make something up. So we went and it was Great. Loved the suites, there's nothing wrong with them, as others claimed. Our room was $99.00, but... More

Our Labor Day camping trip this year was canceled so we had to think of other things we could do on short notice. The Mazatzal Hotel and a couple of other hotels in the area were the only ones that had rooms available in Payson. We booked the Mazatzal and are very happy that we did. I was greeted very... More

Rooms are nice. Price okay. Skeleton crew because of slow business. Please be reminded visiting any tribal nation is the same as traveling to a U.S.A. Territory. That being said you must act accordingly. You re technically no longer in America. There is nothing like the lovely feeling of pulling up to the south hotel entrance in a handicap van,having... Food was horrible. Had chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Potatoes were barely warm, very little gravy, and steak had no taste and covered with soggy breading. Friend had pulled pork and it was dry and tasteless. Will not be back.

We have been going there ever since they opened the Hotel, Up to this time July 2015 They still have the same old Bed Comforters, the Sheets, and the Towels are Dirty Dingy White. They Raise the Rates but they sure don't do anything extra to their Rooms!!

Rooms are old. Presidential suite had broken tv and sofa. Food from grill is very greasy and horrible tasting. Limited selection at buffet except for the salad bar. Unfriendly staff. If you gamble at night you will not be able to purchase food. Bar and restaurants are closed early. Slot machines are tight. They are high on the list of... More

Room 112 is a corner and a bit larger than most the rooms. Nice place to stay, a snack bar open 24/7 lots of free sodas, bingo, casino, coffee shop and even an indorr pool. Very clean. Only issue was pool closes by 10pm and its a casino downstairs so the cig smoke is there.
