We just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at the Spirit Inn. This is a beautiful part of Arizona, near wineries, hiking trails, and the Kartchner Caverns. Patagonia is one of the top birdwatching areas in the country, and there are many bird feeders on the property. There are numerous hiking trails in the nearby Coronado National Forest. Mountain... This could easily be a 5 star B&B with a beautiful setting BUT the owners have opted not to enhance this place. The patio is littered with falling leaves which could be easily cleaned prior to arrival with a leaf blower. The fountain in the patio is filled with green algae and little water. The fondest for antiques is obvious... More

Very disappointing stay. My cousin and I were on vacation to various sites in Southern Arizona. We are both from ranching families and accustom to rustic living. However this facility is beyond rustic, the online photos are very deceiving. An hour heads up by management is required before check-in so they can be on-site to let you in. When I... More

An attractive place in a lovely location. Our room was pleasant enough, but didn't feel truly special. The patio was a fine place for birding (pair of gray hawks nesting in the giant cottonwood). I did think the breakfast was a little meager: two strips of turkey bacon, three small mesquite pancakes (bacon and pancakes both cold when they got... More

WOW!!!!! From the moment we arrived Tom and Mary Jane made us feel right at home. The Spirit Tree Inn is a very special place. My wife and I stayed in the Bunk House. It was very private and it was just like home. Tom has a Chef's background and he makes some awesome food. The breakfast meals we had... More

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at the Spirit Tree Inn. It's a great location for anyone visiting the Arizona wineries (tons of fun)... The place is secluded so check in before dark... We stayed at the lavender room which has a door connecting to an outdoor patio... Technically you could enjoy wine in this area... Note: this room's... More

We spent a weekend at the Spirit Tree Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tom and Mary Jane are wonderful hosts. Tom is a great chef, and they worked with us to provide dinner one evening in addition to terrific breakfasts, catering to both vegetarians and carnivores in our group. Tom and Mary Jane directed us to some of the best... More

My Husband and I have visited this B&B a few times in the last few years and plan on returning in the future. The breakfast served is always filling and the conversations at the table very interesting. The host, Tom and Mary Jane, are down to earth people that you can just sit on the porch with and learn about... More

My wife and I were lucky enough to visit May 12th and 13th. We have been fortunate to stay in many B&Bs around the world and can honestly say that this was our best experience. Tom's knowledge of birds, antiques and his excellent breakfasts were just some of the delights we experienced. His cotton wood tree (the 6th largest in... More

How great to escape this Atlanta winter season and retreat to the charming and laid back town of Patagonia, Arizona and this very unique inn. Hosts were so knowledgeable about the whole area and gave good advice on how best to spend our days in this little bit of paradise. We were surprised at how much there was to do... More
