They have done a very nice job remodeling the rooms at the Stage Stop. The floors are all tile and the bathrooms have new fixtures. Our king size bed was very comfortable and there was a fridge and coffeemaker in the room. We had a large big-screen TV with a large line up of cable stations including HBO. They are... More

I am giving this 4 stars, not because it is a luxury up-scale hotel, but because of the customer service and effort that went into making my stay as comfortable as possible. Yes, this is an older building. But my room (and I imagine most if not all of them) had been modernized and had a very appealing (though simple)... More

Comfortable, clean and quirky and a decent sized room. Unfortunately I only stayed here one night and didn't even get to check out the area. I would love to come back and stay here again for a few days and have a look around. Management were very helpful and friendly, from my booking to my stay. There were a couple... More

Stayed here for two nights. The owners were very nice. Got a room upstairs which was nice because you get a window and a glass sliding door. The a/c worked well as did the fridge. The water pressure in the shower was great as was the free bottled water. There is a lot of work going on, specifically the dining... More

We stayed at this inn for two nights. First night the air conditioning was on the fritz, but after notifying our host, Jerry, he made sure the unit was changed out. What a relief! We had resigned ourselves to the notion that this was the way it was, but no, it was the a.c. unit. The hotel was built in... More

The owner (Jerry) was very nice and tried to accommodate us but they need to work out some bugs (not live crawly ones LOL). A bit overpriced for what it was but the only game in town. The room was clean and they are very pleasant but we were unable to relax much with some loud construction stuff happening they... More

Just enjoyed a wonderful stay with a group of birders from BC in the Stage Stop Inn. It is ran by a very genuine and friendly couple, and has such a relaxed feel that I found it difficult to leave. Love the characterful lobby and veranda with books and comfy sofa and chairs. Great village with a focus on art,... More

I respect the rules and laws and I try to observe them. I am 67 years old. I have been through a war and thank God I made it to this age. I have smoked for 50 years. On May 24, 2014, at 7 a.m., I was sitting outside my room smoking a cigarrette, and (outside the room) a lady... More

In case you don't know, Patagonia, AZ, is very small......maybe 5 x 10 blocks in all, along a back highway in rural Arizona. So a traveler who wants to stay specifically in Patagonia doesn't have a lot of options for accommodations. The Stage Stop was very adequate for our needs, but it did not meet our expectations from the rather... More

The Stage Stop Inn is under new management and has been newly renovated. Our room was spotless, nicely decorated and comfortable. The new owners are helpful, personable and were a pleasure to be around. If you're traveling to Patagonia for a birding trip, as we were, or just to visit this part of Arizona, the Stage Stop Inn is a... More
