We were in the area for a wedding, and chose this resort as our base for the weekend. We got a room that looked out directly at Camelback Mountain, which was great for sitting out on our private patio in the evenings and in the morning for breakfast. We really enjoyed breakfast in the mornings, with that nice view and... More

If I did not live 10 minutes away from there, I would stay there more often. We often visit the spa which is one of the best I have ever experienced. But thanks to missed water bills, we enjoyed a full week end at the hotel and it was amazing. The hotel reflects historical AZ style in a very relaxed... More

Recently stayed at the JW Marriott Camel Back Inn in Scottsdale for a long Mom's getaway weekend. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful! There were rabbits, quail and hummingbirds at almost every turn. The weather was very pleasant so it was easy to walk to any location in comfortable shoes. The Casitas were nicely situated and very clean. There was... More

I've come here a few times now and it's easily one of my favorite places to stay. It's a great weekend getaway. The grounds are beautiful and serene. The service and hospitality is unmatched and the spa- outstanding. Great food and drinks, too! I love this place and will return many more times to come!

Between the friendly staff, gorgeous architecture, and spectacular views, the JW Marriott Camelback Inn is one of the best hotels in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Located 15 minutes from the airport, Camelback Inn sits on the foot of Mummy mountain and offers spectacular views of Camelback mountain which is only a five minute drive away. Each room feels like a building of its... More

Stones on the walkways, 'kicked up' by the hotel's check-in hospitality carts, but that's where it ends. You're "on your own" after that, for finding your way back to your room, to Starbuck's, the pool, and/or the lobby and restaurants. Our stucco room was located near the pool in the 200-274 range, however, farther down to locations of Starbuck's, the... More

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the soutwestern and rustic look of our hotel rooms. I am however happy to hear that you did enjoyed our beautiful landscaping, and service from our staff. Our footprint is quite large and... More

Went to this property on business. Like many resorts in the phoenix area, this place was a sprawling compound. I am not sure how many acres, but I couldn't walk from my room to the lobby. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are in 6 room Casita's. Rooms are gorgeous. The pool looked great with a restaurant and bar. At... More

I am so happy to review this beautiful property where I recently stayed for a business meeting with my team and they couldnt do enough for us. Many of my colleagues remarked about how beautiful the property is and the views of Camelback Mountain were superb. I was delighted to see bunny rabbits, large lizards, and many hummingbirds up close... More

The resort is a little dated, but it's location makes up for all that. The grounds are beautiful and the mountain views are AMAZING! The resort staff at check-in and room service were super. The spa is lovely. Room service breakfast was delicious, eaten on the patio in our pj's with a great view of Camelback mountain.

We live less than 2 hours away but do mini-vacays in Phoenix a few times a year. We often stay at the Desert Ridge JW Marriott but sometimes our activities or their prices send us to other resorts in the area. On this visit we were only at Camelback one night before a flight out of Sky Harbor the next... More
