Got a chance to stay in this resort for 4N last week. I was on a business trip attending annual sales conference of our company. This resort gave a mix response. The decor and the rooms are really nice. The room provided was really nice with comfortable bed and nice view of mountains. The orange tree next to the balcony... More

This resort has been in Paradise Valley under for many years but was bought and renamed. While the personnel were pleasant it seems the management team does not have a good handle on running this resort. We asked for a handicapped room which was provided but it was a long way from the restaurant, pool and parking lot making it... More

BEAUTIFUL resort! I will start with some positives: (1) Surprisingly great food, both at the restaurants, and at the conference services; (2) Valet staff is superb; (3) housekeeping is exceptional; amazingly beautiful grounds, (4) AMAZING bed! Now for the caution: (1) do NOT get a room on the ground level in the buildings that are two-stories (my experience took me... More

We spent 3 nights at Montelucia and I never wanted to leave. It's beautiful. The employees are extremely friendly and your every wish is their pleasure. It's a little pricey in-season, but you sure are pampered. I loved it.

I loved my stay at the Montelucia resort. I was traveling alone and going to a conference at the Phoenician which was sold out. The room and and resort are quite spacious and had wonderful layout. Maybe it was because I was alone, but my room was fairly remote and being on the 1st floor I didn't feel totally secure.... More

traveled with my family over Xmas and New years, debated between this resort and Sanctuary Camelback Mtn - chose this because have teen girls - did not regret it - in fact ate dinner at sanctuary's restaurant - i think Sanctuary better suited for more low key and perhaps couples - both resorts very different and very very beautiful -... This is an amazing resort! The grounds are magnificent, the staff very attentive, and the facilities were wonderful. This is not a kid friendly hotel. First we travel very frequently to 5 star hotels, and bring our kids, and when we do, we make requests for a refrigerator for bottles and milk, a microwave and a crib. I have never... More

Unique atmosphere and ambiance, very nice facilities. The spa is phenomenal, 33,000 sq feet of luxury. I enjoyed the Hammam treatment where you get several gallons of ice cold water dumped on you from an antique bucket after the steamroom or sauna. Wonderful outside pool and bar where you can relax after your procedures while looking at Camelback Mountain. The... More

This is an absolutely beautiful resort hotel near lots of great Scottsdale restaurants, golf courses, shopping, etc. Possibly the MOST COMFORTABLE hotel bed ever!! We had a problem with the thermostat in the room and while it took a while to resolve, the staff was very nice about it and went out of their way to be sure we were... More

The Montelucia is an amazing Phoenix resort. Its backbone is a highly trained staff, eager to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The city of Phoenix seems to generate these amazing resorts, just one turn off of a highly traveled city road. The abrupt change from city driving to a well-run, hidden resort is remarkable. Be prepared,... More
