The location seems out of place until you stay there. Their focus on the details in both amenities and service is what makes this place special. The restaurant brings in top foodies and non-guest couples wanting a great corner of the bar to hang out in, but the hotel feels welcoming and secluded. Still, it is comfortably in the middle... We chose the Hermosa Inn for our wedding weekend, and couldn't have been more pleased with the selection. Most of our family lives in the Paradise Valley area, and the Hermosa Inn was the perfect spot for our friends from California to stay for an intimate wedding weekend. This is a first class boutique hotel with beautiful desert landscape, an... More

The hotel setting can be captivating. However, when I check into a boutique hotel I expect everything to be top-notch. Robes were not in the room. It took 30 minutes after my request to get them delivered. The shower control was messed up. Turn ever so slightly from off to get the hottest water. The sheets don't fit the bed,... More

We had a reservation in late October for my husband's birthday. When we arrived, we were given a pretty bad table, followed by a move to one not much better. After we got up to leave, however, the manager stepped in and really did save our evening. Not only that, but altered a #1 rating to a #5. In fact,... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of a two-week road trip. While we were driving to the hotel we began to wonder what we were in for - our satnav took us a rather bizarre route, I think. On arrival, though, any worries we had were soon put to rest. The setting is beautiful. Check-in... More

We stayed four days at the Hermosa Inn early October 2011. The accomodations and grounds were beautiful and serene. Lon's at The Hermosa is excellent for any meal you choose and we tried them all. It was truly hard to make ourselves leave the property. I don't think I have ever recommended hotel oatmeal to anyone, but Lon's version is... More

Yes, the kind of customer service you hope for exists. What a lovely and relaxing hotel. Our room had a fireplace, nice seating area, a Keurig coffee maker and a Bose Wave Radio (which was on and playing gorgeous jazz music when we entered). Their turn down service left chocolate lavender truffles on the table that made me feel very... More

Everything about the Hermosa was outstanding! The grounds of the inn were gorgeous and they were beautifully maintained. Our room was amazing. We stayed in the Casita, which was spacious and had a wonderful beehive fireplace. The service was first rate from the reservation prossess through our entire stay. The treatment we received from everyone, which includes the registration office... More

Everything here is top-notch, provided you're looking for a quiet getaway. I was only here for a couple of days and I think I might have gone stir crazy on a longer stay. The inn is in the middle of a residential neighborhood (full of awesome flat-roof, wide-overhang desert houses; I made immediate plans to retire to this area) and... More

Spent two nights there recently. Had a conference at the Biltmore, and this property is only 1.5 miles away (can be walked). Beautiful grounds, luxurous rooms, great bar and outdoor restaurant and exceptional staff. Highly recommend it. More
