I stayed at Wingate for 5 nights in December 2009 for vacation for hiking. The hotel is conveniently located very close to Linda Vista and Pusch Peak trail , as well as Catalina State park, also at equal distance (~30 miles) from Saguaro East and Saguaro West. Other hiking trails (Pima, Ventana, Finger Rock etc) are also not very far.... more

Nice safe convenient location. Off the road behind Chili's, far away enough that there is no noise from highway. Has fantastic mountain view on the east side of the motel. Rooms are nicely arranged - ours included a king bed with quality linens, comfortable chairs, ottoman, desk, great desk chair, microwave, refrigerator, and flat screen TV. We kept our room... more

We in our attempts to be a green property are diligent in conserving our resources. Our arrivals are pre-blocked each morning and the rooms are prepped by turning on the Air Conditioning and opening the black out drapes.Due to the Tucson Heat at certain times of the year, The individual units do have a limit as to what the maximum...

Our large suite was roomy, well-decorated, immaculate. We opened the windows to enjoy the Arizona evening and heard the non-stop churning of the pool's filter just below our room. I stayed at this hotel on 3/11/09 and WOW......what a great experience. Great staff. Great rooms. Great price. I have never had a bad stay at a Wingate by Wyndham and I always search these hotels out when I travel. Do your self a favor and stay at this hotel if you are traveling through the Oro Valley/Tucson AZ area.... more
