Primitive camping in paradise, who could ask for more? Fantastic campsites with Monet-like landscapes. The sounds of the brook will lull you to sleep at night while the radiant heat emanating from the canyon walls keeps you warm. We made a big mistake staying in the Hotel...The Hotel has a long wait before you check in and is still a pretty good hike down to the falls. The camp grounds are very spread out and very close to the actual falls. I did not want to camp because I thought it would be a hassle to have our... More

This is at an oasis at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. 10 mile hike in the heat of summer, at the end of hiking down, you walk into the campground with a hundred foot aqua blue waterfall on your right.
