I stayed in an 'enclosed' fale. The fare includes dinner which is tasty and plentiful. Staff are very friendly and the beach is wonderful at sunset. Try to stay on a Saturday night when they throw a fiafia party with traditional dances. Definitely recommended!

The highlight of our trip! The Taufua family are just wonderful, so genuinely friendly, helpful, funny and caring. The big buffet breakfasts and dinners (included in the price) are excellent and a great way to meet other guests as you all sit at big long tables. The beach fales are RIGHT on the water, with the walled fales one row... More

Staying at Taufua Beach Fales was probably the highlight of my samoa trip. Living on a beautiful beach like this is so cool. Staff is friendly and the food is served on a long table "family style", so you get to taste a lot of different local dishes as well as chatting to other tourists.

The Tafua beach Fales are in a great spot on Lalomanu beach with its beautiful golden sand and tropical blue waters. The Fales are right on the beach so you can look out and see and hear the ocean as you relax. The beach is great for lying around relaxing and the water is great for swimming and snorkelling. The... We stayed in two types of accommodation, definitely recommend the fale with the fan and bathroom. Even though there is no hot water anywhere. Very kind, friendly staff and locals. The lagoon beach is spectacular, so do some snorkling. Great cultural dance Fia Fia night twice a week. Ten minutes from To Sua ocean trench, a must see when in... More

Very warm and friendly owners and staff. Not to mention stunning location. One of the coolest experiences was laying down at night next to the sound of the waves and hearing the island music coming from the little tavern next door. Then wandering down the beach, into the tavern to find locals doing the fia fia on the dance floor.

I loved every second of my 5 days stay there. The beachfront fales are simple but clean and have the necessary amenities, the beach is clean with crystal clear water, nice for snorkeling if you know where to look at, since the coral is just growing back after the tsunami. Bring mosquito repellent and a lot of sunblock. All the... More

Such a great place to stay, the real Samoan experience. The people and the food are great. My four kids had the best time swimming all day and eating the great food. We stayed in the open beach fales and they were lovely.

This truly is a very special place! The stuff postcards are made of. We stayed here for two short nights and wish we'd stayed a week. The fales are large and comfortable. Bring a power board, beach towels & plug in mozzie repellant and your life will be blissful. We stayed on a Saturday night and thought the fiafia night... More

For me it was great to come back. I had last seen the place just before the tsunami 5 years ago. It was encouraging to see how much had been rebuilt. For my fiancé, it was her first time and she loved it as much as I did. The food is good. Lobster on Saturday and taro leaves in coconut... More
