We booked Aggie Grey's as we had an early flight and this place is nice and close to the airport. It is expensive but we were happy to pay. Well...we were told we got tourist rate which still equated to over $220...so not quite sure about that...but the room was clean and fine with a sensational view over the water.... More

We only stayed two nights on our way through Apia prior to getting the ferry to Savaii. Everything was clean and tidy. It was centrally located. Food was nice. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in a standard room which was all we needed, it was clean and well maintained. It was on a main pathway which can be... More

Had heard about this hotel, so decided to pay a visit, while on a cruise ship and had coffee in the morning and drinks later in the day. It was just after a hurricane and all the bungalows at the back were closed for renovations (they had a flood coming through the resort), so only the main building was open... More

Stayed for one night while on business. Check in was efficient, room was comfortable with nice view of the Ocean. Buffet dinner and show laid on for us was very good, as was next days breakfast. Nice stay.

Aggie's is one of the institutions of the Pacific. I was working on a project there and ended up living at Aggie's for about 18 months over a 3 year period. I couldn't stay anywhere else after staying there the first time. A good tip is to stay in one of the fales that is not on the path from... More

We stayed at Aggie Greys hotel for 3 nights - pretty quiet nice place to stay rooms tidy and clean apart from some water leaking in the bathroom ceiling, food good staff nice nothing spectacular - If we went back to samoa I would stay at the other aggie greys on the beach as there is no beach close to... food was crap and tasted rubbery, staff were very grumpy and unaccommodating. ordered "gourmet bangers and mash" and what i got were sizzlers(cheapest most prosessed sausage around) sliced in half on lumpy potatoes. the main bar was closed and staff looked at us like we were scum when we asked when it would be open and we didnt get a... Really chilled out place to stay, its not a 4 star hotel but has a nice atmosphere as does the rest of samoa. Good value for money. There is a beauty salon next door which is part of the hotel, the massages were excellent and cheap. Food was ok but within walking distance you have several options. The pool is... More

For all the great stories I heard about Aggies, I was very disappointed in the service, quality of food and it was our honeymoon. I requested a poolside room, we got a fale right @ the back by the laundry. Breakfast was disappointing. The best meal we had was via room service. The bed we had was terrible, soft &... More

The hotel was very central, has a really interesting history, was mostly clean and comfortable, and the staff were very capable. Samoa itself was like stepping back in time - about 40 years - and this was a large part of its charm. There was very little to do or see really, but again that is what we were looking... More
