We entered our hotel room to the very overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke and the bathrooms of the smelly room and the we got moved to was mouldy everywhere. Also be prepared for the change of not having any hot water in your room for a nice shower.

This was my first time in Samoa, I went with my husband whose parents were from there. First impressions of the hotel were great, they offer all the amenities that you'd expect, aircon, pool, gym, spa buffet breakfast etc. The bonus for me was our stunning view that we woke up to every morning. Aggies has a private beach (man... More

It was my first time visiting Samoa I travelled with work and we stayed at Aggie Grey's Hotel. On arrival the hotel looked very beautiful the reception was very nice and it was right on the beach, the people were friendly and the view was spectacular. The rooms however were a bit dated, I would assume they were traditional but... More

A great introduction to Samoa, this is one of the iconic hotels of the world with its own special history and set in gorgeous gardens with shady colonial style verandah and terraces. We stayed twice, first time Easter 2010 and again in June/July 2012. The cabins are clean, redolent with Samoan artifacts, tropical garlands of welcome and air conditioned. Not five... More

Very clean, everything you need. The pool is great, the service is great, the entertainment provided is great. Close (walking) to Apia and there are some interesting things to do. The staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing to fault about this hotel or the country.

Great experience it is what it is. You know it's the South Pacific, i felt like I was in the S Pacific. It is an older hotel I enjoyed the feeling lots of history, and I got that feeling. Thinking of all the greats who have stayed there previously.

We booked Aggie Grey's as we had an early flight and this place is nice and close to the airport. It is expensive but we were happy to pay. Well...we were told we got tourist rate which still equated to over $220...so not quite sure about that...but the room was clean and fine with a sensational view over the water.... More

We only stayed two nights on our way through Apia prior to getting the ferry to Savaii. Everything was clean and tidy. It was centrally located. Food was nice. Staff were pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in a standard room which was all we needed, it was clean and well maintained. It was on a main pathway which can be... More
