The rooms were very spacious clean and airy. Bed a little bit soft, kinda comfy, king size. Extensive menu, but not everything available. Sunday lunch excellent if you want to pay $50 a head. Gardens tropical and lovely. When leaving to go to airport would advise to book taxi instead of shuttle. nearly missed plane when shuttle was 45mins late,... More

The Orator is one of the better hotels in Apia, with spacious and quite private villas, A/C, TV, hot water, 24 Hour electricity and reception. If I'd been there for a laid back holiday I'd be rating it as a 4. Unfortunately I was there for business and there were a few drawbacks: the in-room phone didn't work properly (and... More

This property is set well away from roads and about a 10-15 minute drive outside of Apia. I really liked the peace and quiet of this property. We were a fairly large group(18 ppl total) and we never felt overcrowded or that the hotel was overfull even though they were fully booked the week that we stayed. Rooms were very... More

This is one of the best resorts I've been to in all of Samoa. The clean rooms and faccilities, great service and great food makes for a hotel that strives to provide consistency in their services they provide. The beautiful gardens make for a beautiful tranquil environment. I really enjoyed my stay there with my family, they were always accommodating... More

I have really mixed feelings about this hotel. It is a lovely garden setting with beautiful flowers and pathways around the resort, and the rooms are clean and very spacious (I had three beds in mine). The bathrooms are clean and spacious, and had hot water which seems to not always be the case in Samoan accommodation. There were a... More

Clean, comfortable accommodation in a beautiful garden setting. The pool area is the jewel in the crown - absolutely stunning. We literally spent an entire day poolside soaking up the sun with our 3 young children and teaching them how to use their snorkels before we headed south to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times... More

The gardens are lovely, the staff friendly and helpful and the food (dinner in particular) was delicious. I recommend the surf and turf night! The garden bungalow was large and clean and the air conditioning was a life saver for people who had come from winter to Samoas much warmer climate. The pool area was a hit with our son.... More

We spent 7 days at The Orator and the experience was Beautiful, Relaxing and Accommodating! The photos on the website don't do it justice. From when you walk into the foyer you are greeted with smiling faces, a cold drink of home-made lemonade and a cool fresh fruit platter while you take in your surroundings. The Villas are very nice,... More

We spent 10 days at the Orator in May 2014 (celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary). Have never had such a relaxing and enjoyable time! The staff at Orator have to be the best group we have ever come across - too many to list as they were all wonderful. All facilities are top-class and we felt like we were amongst... More

I came in with 3 other friends for a week of fun, memories and b'day celebrations in the middle of May 2014. Staying at the Orator for 4 nights was an awesome start to our much delayed holiday. Great place, simple and relaxing. The staff was probably one of the winning factors to this hotel - special mention to one... More
