It is really wonderful place if you are looking for peaceful careless holiday. Dave and the staff are very friendly, cooperative and helpful, breakfasts were tropical but delicious just what I want. Dave provides free return connection to Apia every day but if you prefer to be independent and want to explore every corner of Samoa hiring a car is... More

good place to chose, if your after something cheap with a beautiful view away from city and noise. The place has its own transportation for free that leaves in the morning and returns in evening. if you are looking at doing your laundry i suggest you hand wash since the sun is hot and no need to pay 11 Tala... I arrived late at night in Apia driving my rental car on unmarked unfamiliar roads; I got completely lost. I asked a Cab driver Named Jimmy to lead me to the hotel. I would have never found the Eco Lodge without his assistance! Thank you Jimmy! Upon arriving so late at the lodge, I was warmly welcomed by Dave Parker... More

this hotel sits up on a mountain and has beautiful views. The grounds are lovely and very well landscaped. The drive to get to it is on a very rough terrain, I'm talking major potholes and rocks and then up a very steep driveway. You definitely would need a rental car if you don't want to feel confined to the... More

This place is a bit out of the major city (Apia) yet a good distance to be able to visit and explore the city and other island attractions. The food and service were excellent, especially good value for money. It is surrounded by tropical forest which provides stunning views. Would 100% recommend a stay here, just remember to bring mosquito... More

Beautiful view of Apia and the coastline. It is a little bit out of town but Dave also owns a store in the city and he provides a free shuttle in every morning and back out in the evening. After a day in the heat the temperature drop in the mountains is very welcoming. There is also a small pool... More

I've been visiting Samoa for nearly twenty years and continue to enjoy new experiences with each visit. The UN conference for development in small island nations this week meant that many of my usual accommodation choices were unavailable. That problem turned into an advantage when it led me to Dave's property. This is a truly unique way to experience Samoa.... More

The lodge is situated above a valley filled with tropical forest. A large tree some 50m away is the roost for more than 100 fruitbats, and they come within 10m to feed on ripe banana. Great spot to watch birds flying through the valley. Fabulous views down to Apia and the surrounding lowland. Dave, Malama and the rest of the... More

My wife and I stayed with Dave and Malema Parker between 3 April 2014 and 23 April 2014. We loved our stay and were looked after very well. Both spoke excellent English and the staff also had a good working knowledge. The advantage of staying at the EcoLodge is that at 1400' above sea level it is considerably more comfortable... More

Would recommend you have a car if you stay here as it is a 15 minutes drive out of Apia and up some very steep hills. This was a lovely retreat high above Apia with spectacular views. Dave is an interesting character with a vibrant past. He shares his knowledge of Samoan history and culture if asked. Breakfast is included... More
