Our first impression of Valentines was: "Wow, this is depressing." The room was almost bare, the double bed was uncomfortable and there was an army of ants marching across the front wall. That said, the shared bathrooms were clean and the breakfasts were filling. We just wished the beds were comfier. The other thing to note is that there is... More

The staff there is really careful and smily.the rooms are very clean and the fan or a/c is a plus when it s getting really warm and humid. Despite it s close location to the center, the back garden offers calm and beauty in a pointless city. The cinema is not to far

The best choice in Apia to stay low budget and inexpensive. The owners are friendly. We liked the place that much, that we stayed again when we came back to Apia. It is only a short walk to Apia's city center.

Arrived late Sunday night from airport just wanting a bed for the night...We had our grumpy one year old in toe and was happy they could take us as we had been a few places without luck. Stayed in a small a/c room with own toilet/shower. Bed was ok but even though i smoothered insect repellent on my son and... More

We stayed one night at Valentines Motel before taking a flight from Fagalili Airport to Pago Pago. It served our purposes well. The bus from the Mulifanua (Savai'i) ferry (3 tala each) dropped us off at the door and the taxi to the airport was 12 tala for a 15 minute journey. Good location with fruit/vege market close by (being... More

Me, My partner and my 3 children had a lovely time staying at Valentines. One night out we decided to look around for cheap accomodation and came across Valentines, the owner Verona was very nice and the samoan caretaker (i forgot his name) was very pleasent and easy to chat to. We stayed there for a week and it was... More

I checked in during November - December 2011. I had previously visited a relative who stayed in the motel last year so I knew which room I wanted. I requested it and fortunately it was available. Don't kid yourself and compare it to Aggies or Kitano, you are getting basic accomodation at a decent price...it's clean and close to town... More

I was to holiday with my family from NZ at Valentines we were referred to them as we were not only looking for a good budget but also a safe place for our kids.   When we got there not only had they forgotten to book us in their diaries after we'd paid 6 thousand Tala for 4 weeks, the rooms... I stayed here twice this month and I prefer it to Berties and Elisa for a budget room. The location is very good near the main bus station and there are restaurants, bars and grocery stores nearby. The included breakfast is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. On the downside, their email was down so you have to... More
