You wouldn't want to stay anywhere else if you want to surf the south side of the island. The location is super central for waves with two (Pebbles and a small right) directly out the front and 'the left' 150m just down the drive way. Natina, Malay and their family are amazing and the fale are 1m from the waters... More

The fales aren't in a particularly pretty location - on a black sand beach and along a dusty track. Probably better suited to surfers than sunbathers / general tourists. If you want tropical island paradise, go elsewhere. The fales are nice though - clean and open but not too open. There wasn't much to do, but there are two fancy... More

The fales are very simple, just huts right on the beach with a mattress and a mosquito net. I loved that breakfast and dinner were included, although it could take a long time from when I sat down to when the meal arrived, so for dinner I was often eating in the darkness, as they seat you outside. Sitting outside... More

Good place to stay for a couple of days. Its close to coconuts resort for boat trips,or you can paddle straight out (~100m). The family which run this place are make Sina PJs specal;. Great local knowledge on surf and culture. There is no bar here, but you can store any drinks you bring in the fridge. The water filter... More

My two best mates and I stayed here for 10 nights and I will definately be coming back with my wife. Netina and Malae welcomed us as family and kept us well fed (breakfast and dinner) with a mixture of western and Samoan food! We stayed in the beach fales (the only accommodation at Sina PJ) which were simple and... More

This place like so many other Fale stays in Samoa is "Made" by the owners, Malae & Netina, Netina welcomed us like long lost relatives esp considering it was pouring with rain. Hearing there stories about there heroic survival from the tsunami, makes you really appreciate the people and this wonderful place. sure it's basic.. nothing wrong with that. good... More

Myself , my 16 year old son and his friend stayed here for 10 days of body boarding. It is really tents on stilts. The Fales are basic , but very clean and right on the water. No TV , No Radio it was idyllic. Great location for Body Boarding or surfing. The family were wonderful. The kids to both my... More

Whilst basic, this place had a lot going for it, most notably the friendly and genuine hospitality of the host family. The food (brekky and dinner provided) was great and comprised big serves, which suited my partner. Its a budget accommodation, and thus you would want to be a person who is comfortable with a lack of electricity after dark... More

I stayed here with my husband and two children (6 and 8 y/o) for two weeks. This was our second time at Sina PJ, the previous trip was before the tsunami, so we were keen to see how the village had recovered. If you are looking for a traditional Samoan experience, look no further. The family have rebuilt lovely fales... More

the family was friendly & rushed to get breadfruit & coconuts as soon as we arrived , but the atmosphere could be improved if they ate with you like a big family , the meals were tasty & ample to fill a hungry belly , the beach was unattractive & could be improved by some gardening but i couldn't find...
