After staying in beach fales the lagoon/forest setting was a nice change of scene. Make sure you get a chalet out over the water - they're sturdier than they look, although we did get a wee bit wet when strong winds and rain blew through one night. The restaurant is disappointing for the prices.

I absolutely loved this place! It's a walking distance to the makeki where I bought the best keke pua'a for only two tala. The lagoon was just breathtaking! I would recommend staying in the fale over the lagoon! My fan wasn't working, but I was able to fix it myself. Mosquito nets could be replaced with newer ones. Bed was... More

I visited Lusia's for a 2nd time in June 2015. The staff are great, the place is well run. Because it is located in the forest the accommodation is cooler. Lusia, the owner is a genuine environmentalist. Restaurant is v good. The prime minister showed up one morning for breakfast! The small manual car available for hire runs well and... More

We stayed over the lagoon, room was lovely and clean with a nice verandah. Bathroom was a bit small. Food was average, right in town so can easily shop around for restaurants though. Very rustic restaurant setting. Good staff.

Sometimes in life you need to just be. Not just be doing something, but just be in the moment, appreciate the time you have, breathe. Here it is easy to do all of this. The staff are friendly and they welcome questions and enquires. If you have any issues, even as small as, "I would like to try a new... More

The staff was very friendly and the food was good! Our chalet was neat and tidy. The view from the deck was great! The rock pool was really nice , the water was nice and warm. The rocks surrounding the pool are a bit dangerous as I have slit my finger while getting into the water! The staff was amazing... More

Lusia's is nearby the ferry terminal on Savai'i and the nearby markets making it a good location to start out on Savai'i. The lagoon Chalets were unlike anywhere i'd ever stayed, literally over the water and the fans were a nice touch! The swimming in the lagoon was really fun and the deck over the water was a great place... More

Easy 15-20 minute walk from the wharf. Staff very friendly on arrival. Room clean and spacious with lovely sea views and breezes. Lack of secure in-room storage was disappointing despite there being no security issues experienced during my stay. Hotel safe is available on request. The absence of ceiling fan over bed very surprising for an Eco-Resort, preferable to using... More

We stayed in a garden chalet, Sharona. It was roomy, beds very comfortable. The ensuite could have been cleaner, but adequate. Nice deck outside. We had fridge, tea/coffee making facility and good air-con and fan. Also lots of louvres, which were screened. The chalets are secluded in amongst the rainforest, only metres from the lagoon. A wonderful deck by the... More

I stayed in one of the chalets over the lagoon. The room is built over the water... It had a double bed, fan, mosquito net and a chair on the deck. It was a very basic room but the view of the lagoon was fantastic; especially at night with a full moon! Memorable!!! There is a covered deck by the... More
