We spent a week here with our 2 kids and had an amazing time. We stayed in a fale with private facilities. The surf was amazing and the snorkelling the best in Samoa. There was something for the whole family and we could easily have stayed another week or 2! The food was great and the oka was awesome. Lanu... More

My mates and I visited Aganoa Lodge for a week in July for pumping waves, heaps of sun, beers and some quality times and we got exactly that! The place has an amazing, relaxing vibe to it and to top it off the waves we surfed made it my favourite surf trip to date. If you are a surfer, your... More

Just back from Aganoa, where I spent eight days with my daughter and son-in-law. It was exactly the sort of place we were looking for - beachfront Fales, beautiful beach, with glorious water for swimming and snorkelling and fantastic surf all week. The food was great, the staff were great and we have no complaints about anything ! Was a... More

Since we had no car in our possession we had a long and exhausting walk to the resort. The resort is nice located on a small beach. The Fales are more like closed units and more expensive than what we were used to. We concluded for non-surfers it's not really worth the price. You get the same or better for... More

Keith and Lanu were both so welcoming upon the arrival of myself and 2 surfing buddies. We were picked up promptly from the Ferry terminal on Upolu and driven straight to the retreat. The thing you need to understand about Aganoa Beach Retreat is that it is not designed for people to sit in a hotel room and look at... More

I and a group of friends recently stayed at Aganoa Beach Retreat and were very impressed by the location and setup of the retreat. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful though their service, hygiene and accommodation leaves a lot to be desired. Just basic things such as replenishing the toilet paper in the bathrooms, supplying soap, supplying towels and... More

We visited the place after crossing on the ferry from Upolu. We were travelling with 4 boys who are keen surfers and wanted to check Aganoa surf break. At the gate we were met by a local men and paid him $30 tala. The road which was in a bad state led us to the resort. The cost to use... More

My family and I have stayed at Aganoa many times, each time we stay is better than the last. Aganoa is without a doubt the most idyllic beach in Samoa. You can snorkel with turtles right out the front of your fale, time it right and you can also have awesome surf too that, unlike most of Samoa, is a... More

Keith and Lanu are the best and have everything lined up so that you can relax, eat solid meals, surf awesome waves, visit other cool sites at low tide, and just chill to your heart's content in total paradise. The view from my fale is what dreams are made of. I live on Kauai and so I know what a... More

Have been meaning to write this review for a long time and have finally got around to it, we stayed August 2013. There were 8 in our group, all guys, 7 South Africans with me as the token Kiwi. Aganoa was the first stop on our Samoan boys tour - surfing, kite-surfing and general relaxing. Firstly, the location is unbelievable... More
