We were two exhausted business partners desperately needing a quick break, so we chose Vaioana after reading Tri Advisor reviews - and it lived up to all of those wonderful reviews. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything was about relaxation, warmth, peace, friendliness, caring, top notch customer service. it was fabulous. Yes the rooms are... More

My wife and I discovered Vaimoana in 2012 and were so impressed (see much earlier Review) that we returned in 2014 and treated our immediate family to a couple of superb weeks of relaxation, warmth, swimming, snorkelling, lagoon views and ice cold beers. The seven of us had a ball thanks to the folks who make a stay at Vaimoana... More

The property is built on a nice beach setting in what was an old logging camp but now run by the local land owning family and they have done a nice job o offering open Fales where you can stay on the beach, enclosed Fale's and larger Air conditioned rooms. The standard is fairly basic but comfortable and clean. Very... More

Great location and value for money. The staff were very friendly. Great views (we could sit on our private veranda and watch the sun set or turtles feed or big fish jump ). Located on a lovely calm lagoon. There are free kayaks and you need to use these to go over to the island on the other side of... More

Was recommended this spot on Savai'i by our previous fale owner on Upolu and very grateful for that as this place is beautiful. Its on the opposite side of the island from the ferry port but it is definitely worth the drive. The fales were comfortable and overlooking the bay and the private beach makes you feel like your on... More

Stayed at Vai'a'moana a week ago and loved it. Wish we had stayed on longer instead of moving on to our next accommodation. Michelle and the staff were fantastic, remembered our names right from day one, were very hospitable and always a warm word. The food was excellent and the bar and restaurant were perfect, along with the pina coladas!... More

A first time stay and review of this accommodation. Background - a mate and I stayed one night, we biked around Savai'i and this was our second stop. We were tired and fatigued from a hard day's riding over the hills and here was an oasis on so many levels. Fantastic place! We stayed in our own waterfront fales and... More

We stayed in one of the lovely Sunset Fale and loved it. The staff was very friendly and went the extra mile when we most needed it. The food was great (I will never forget the coconut jam and guava jam at breakfast)

Recently enjoyed most of our Easter break at the above location. Had a nice feel about it, room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Did have a surprise visit from a huge spider!!! which snuck in through the shower window, but all other windows were screened. Lovely setting and the management were very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the live music from... More
